Our third stay at this really nice site. Very clean and tidy  as usual. First two days/nights were just a nightmare, we had two tents next to us....yes I know tents are banned on this site but there they were. They were erected over two of the smallest "caravans I have ever seen,just enough room to lie down in. More of a box trailer than a caravan. The people that inhabited these were the most noisy we have ever encountered. Radio blaring away  and one of the chaps was doing push ups and weight training in the road. They shouted across to each other making our stay not so nice. I spoke to the warden about them and he siad they were quite "loud". Then they went.But it meant packing up all the tent and equipment this took about 90 minutes for each of them which would not have been so bad but one packed up late in the eve and the other set started at 06.45 in the morning banging about. These type of vans need to be banned from this site or it will lose customers. If we encounter them again we will move on. Letter of complaint will be sent to caravan club and Bolton Abby office. Peace then rained for our last day and it was bliss! We would go again as this must have been a one off.
