Skint.

Here for three nights. Nice site but a non existent bus service left us relying on taxis, £10 set charge cost us £60 for 3 days In Blackpool. Won't be back.

Great site but....

Poor location and poor bus service...reliant on taxis if you don't want to drive.....and they're expensive. It's a shame because the site is of usual club standard but let down by its position to all the attractions

Great site

Stayed here for 2 nights in out motorhome. Arrived latish so not much choice of pitches left. Some pitches are in the shade and some have full sun (if there is any). Very clean and tidy site. Love that there are no push button taps for water. Showers run for as long as you shower and are as hot as you want and never ran out. The site was clean as were the facilities each time we used them. We took our motorhome off site as the weather looked a little uncertain but there is a cycle track to cycle to Blackpool Beach which we had planned to do originally. The country road outside is quite busy with cars heard driving fast along it which must be locals using a short cut. So a pitch away from the road would be better!! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had no problems while on this site and would stay again if in the area. Definitely recommend.

this is a good site well looked after but lacking facilities within walking distance however the staff are exceptional and I would not hesitate to recommend it because of them

Lovely site great location

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at this site and had a lovely holiday. The site is in a lovely secluded location yet a quick 5 minute drive to all the attractions. As with all club sites the facilities are excellent with good size pitches. The wardens were very friendly and helpful and seemed to work day and night with the members arriving at all hours. We had our dog with us but didn't have any issues walking him as previous reviews stated. There is a country lane just off the site and a 5 min drive to a spectacular beach. We had lovely weather for our entire stay and spent everyday on the beach walking into Blackpool or St Anne's from the sandunes. There is a Morrisons and a Tesco nearby and a fish and chip  van came on site twice a week also. We will definitely return to this site.

Lovely site but small playground

The site itself is lovely, as were the staff. The facilities are great but there are couple of things letting it down for someone with a family. Firstly the playground is very small, so if more than a couple of kids are there then most of the equipment will already be taken. Secondly you can't walk into Blackpool as it's just too far out and the route is main roads with no pavement. Anyone without a family who didn't mind getting a taxi every time they go out will move it though.

Helpful and Friendly Wardens

This site is never going to gain 5 stars for peace and quiet due to its layout and the fact that its set up for practicality but I could not fault it any other category. Staff were excellent, helpful and very friendly.

not for dog owners

great site IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DOG, what more can I say. A dodgy roadside only to walk him, you have to go to the beach otherwise. I was told "do not deliberately walk my dog on site to do it's business" almost as a threat, pity because the site is a great position. ONE OF THE STAFF MUST HAVE HAD AN OFF DAY

Great trip to Blackpool South

Been here many times we,always enjoy it. Friendly welcome, wardens are great fun, they even wander around the site in the evening checking everything is ok. Shower block always clean, site very easy to get to, many places to visit, we like St Ann's, Fleetwood,Garstang. WiFi was hit and miss this time but usually it's ok.

Another good break

A warm welcome greeted us on our arrival, the wardens at Blackpool CC are superb, considering they only took over recently, the toilet block was very clean and tidy, this was our fourth visit to this site, it will not be our last, ideal for the Blackpool resort area, not to close to spoil the peace and quiet, local amenities close by. Well done keep up the good work.
