The positives for this site are: pleasant location, very good staff (friendly and professional) and excellent facilities. Sadly the negative issue of a lack of privacy for pitches was such a disappointment to us. The site is very open and there is just not any privacy. It appears that the site is designed to maximise the number of units. However, this could be remedied with some simple redesign and appropriate planting. The site is in a good position in a National Park. It is reasonable to expect the site layout to reflect that and include wildlife corridors such as appropriate hedging, shrubs and trees (that will provide privacy as well as environmental benefits). This would take some time to establish but would infinitely improve the site and demonstrate environmental credibility.
