Worthwhile to visit
After reading some of the past reviews I was concerned about approach roads and how this site was going to be, but stick to the approach roads that are mentioned by the Caravan Club and you'll realise that there's nothing to worry about, the roads were fine even if you got a caravan or motorhome coming in the other direction. This is the first visit to the New Forest and we weren't disappointed. The site is well laid out, friendly wardens and very quiet. There's a choice of 3 pubs in the village but be prepared for a 50 minute walk, but enjoyable walk. The Huntsman seemed to be the busiest for eating (best to book) Unfortunately for the children there's no play area but they always seemed to be entertained by riding their bikes and it's a great place for cycling or walking.
I used this site because it's approx 6 miles from the Beaulieu Museum and don't forget that Caravan Club members receive a good discount if you mention it when paying for tickets.
