A long awaited 3 day break in the New Forest was slightly marred by this site. The wardens are lovely and very helpful but the facilities are very limited with no wifi and a very old run down toilet block that desperately needs updating. Although the wardens kept the site clean and well groomed this is not a good site for families with young children as there are no play facilities and ball games are banned. The approach road needs great care as its full of pot holes. Some of these are at least a metre in diameter. The speed bumps are very poorly marked so great care needs taking when approaching from Brockenhurst. Also make sure you follow the approved route and not your sat nav!
