New facilities don't live up to the hype

Pros: Lovely setting, convenient for the forest and coast. Very helpful wardens. Cons: The much heralded new facilities don't live up to the hype, and I don't think will last nearly as long as the old ones they replaced - already some toilet seats on the skew! Institutional feel to them: reminded me of a boarding school/ hospital facility. Such a pity money could not have been found to thoroughly refurbish the old ones, which were quirky and so lovely to use. 10am cleaning closure for the showers & loos is far too early, & those of us still in there being swished out, on the dot, and all told to "hurry up and finish", is simply not on. We are not at boarding school, and despite trying to be on time, some of us had had to queue. No children's play area - kids can't play unsupervised out in the forest, and there is still nothing on site for them, bar riding up and down the roadways on their bikes - and round and round the toilet block (notices, please - I nearly walked straight into a child on a bike on coming out!) WiFi, despite the hype is abysmal. A beautiful natural site, once full of wildlife, has become homogeneous and bland, and now resembles a giant car park. Such a pity. We shall not be returning.

If you want a site that in the woods then try Settorns ,just down the road at Sway,we used to go to Black knowl every year until they closed it for refurbishment and then used Settorns ,give it a try
