CAULKHEAD

Fantastic site, ruined by the fact it turns into giant Velodrome, kids cycling all over the place and at speed, they race in between pitches, they race around the toilet block. The wardens do not give a dam, they will not bother to up hold the Rules. ITs about time that the Rules where issued on the back of your receipt as a reminder to members..

The rules regarding dogs, speed limits, cycles and supervision of children are already printed on the reverse of the site plan handed to every arrival, andwend.

Can't say that I have seen that on the back of site plans TW

I thought, from last few sites, that the receipt has been printed on the reverse of the plan. Obviously if the rules were printed I wouldn't read them anyway laughing

I have received that second page as well but didn't realise that there were site rules on it ...... probably skipped that and it went over my head laughing

After so many years I am well aware of the rules including latest on dog leads

There was a time when receipts were printed on the back but this year we’ve had the rules on the reverse of the plan at every site we’ve visited as far as I can recall.

I suspect their presence needs to be pointed out when the plan is handed over.

I think those of us who spend the odd hour or two browsing this forum may be pretty well acquainted with the rules as they frequently crop up in our chatter. Other members may not be so aware.

as far as I can recall.

No idea how far you can recall TW but in my case it is not far at all and I can't ask Fliss as she has gone to bed wink

We spent a week at the site over the end of May BH week. The site was full of families. We experienced nothing like the OP's review during our stay and they certainly enforced the rule re minimum spacing. A nice site in an exceptional location.😀

On the back of the site plan at Black Knowl is all the information ,including about cycling on site, there is also a summer cycling campaign with posters asking members to be aware of the speed and direction of travel when cycling on site, but when it is Adults who are speeding and going against the one way system (enough big 5mph and arrows on the roads,,the staff have been seen to warn cyclists  (adultssurprised)  riding round the toilet blockyell, which also has notices on ,what chance hav the site staff of stopping what the members them selves ignoreundecided
