Nice to stay for a little longer

We usually stay on the ferry pitches prior to catching the Eurotunnel (although can be cheaper to stay near Wissant - 15 mins from the French Eurotunnel). However this time we decided to stay in the area for a little longer. Folkestone (down by the harbour and in the creative quarter) was much nicer than expected. Lovely fish and chips plus lots of dog friendly cafes. Went to the Black Horse pub which is always friendly with nice food. Never realised there's a dog walk at the campsite which is a long run amongst trees and fenced off so they are allowed off the lead. Only the lower toilet block was in operation due to electrical work at the one by the ferry pitches.
