This was our first time at Berwick Seaview site but, not our last. The wardens really do look after you and the site. It is of a very high standard of cleanliness and the wardens have a wealth of knowledge about the places around you. We found buying shellfish straight from the Dock Road fish sellers, very fresh and really a good price. The site is so well situated at Spittal that you can walk down to the beach and watch the boats coming in and out. Berwick is a walk to the old bridge or a very short drive into the long stay car park which is free parking. Drive into Eyemouth just over the border and you can feed the seals in the harbour. This caravan site is the base for so much, even though full whilst we were there there was never any queues at the spotless shower block. The Northumberland coastline route is a short drive away and takes you to Holy Island. Can't wait to go back, we completely filled our week and the weather really didn't matter as there is so much to see and do.
Berwick caravan club site
We would recommend this site to every caravanner. this site is really handy for the beach, berwick town and national trust properties. enjoyed our stay and will be back as arnie would say.
Vantastic!
Our first time at this Site, but will most definitely won't be our last!
Peace & Quiet a plenty, Rabbits playfully bounding around first thing in the Morning, Birdsong throughout the day, one thing I must point out though....The sound of the Train, It was barely Audible! So no complaints their either. Dolphin Spotting on the beach between 8-9 am most Mornings, National Trust sites a plenty around here.
A hidden away Site, that is nearly always full. Staff are Excellent and couldn't help enough.
One tip: Make sure you have your walking shoes and make time for plenty of visits.
Great time was had by all.
We only stayed 4 nights and this was not enough. We had a pitch that overlooked the Tweed and Berwick. Just being able to sit and enjoy the view was brilliant. Walking to the Beach, Bus rides, National Trust visits ..... lots to do. Plus, local Brewary close by.
Site clean and Wardens helpful with a smile.
Seaside stopover
Stopped over for 2 nights returning south from Scotland.
The warden was very helpful & pleasant greeting us with a smile.
Alas there were only 2 pitches left on the top tier at the northern end of the top tier close to the main railway line.
Agreed you tend to get used to the noise but it does catch you off guard now & again. We wouldn't want to stay much longer than we were.
We also had no sea view which possibly could of be avoided if the hedge rows were cut back a little.
The shower block was very clean & service points plentiful.
TV reception was ok but no BBC so the Open Golf was out much to the wife's approval.
Signage leading to the site could be a little better.
A Must Come To.
Our first visit to this area and we were not disappointed, the area and site was excellent as we secured a first class viewing pitch,On arrival the warden could not have been more helpful giving us all the information we required regarding the local area and short cuts to the town.Visited Bamburgh and Seahouses by means of the local Bus service. My only regret is that i was not at the same breakfast table as Porsche 100 but next time maybe.
A bit disappointed
Have just returned from our visit to northumberland. Weather wasnt good which spoilt it a little. Very clean site and very friendly wardens but disappointed with the area of Spittal, not very clean and wouldnt use the pub . There is no dog walk , we had to use the football pitch which was adjacent, or make a 10minute walk down to the front, which was not convenient. Lovely walk along the river from Berwick under the bridges and lovely beach. Check pitch numbers for views, we were at the south end with no view and a lot of train noise even at night. Good M&S foodstore a 10 minute walk away and a Farmfoods. Walk into Berwick was a good 30 minutes. As we have a motorhome we rely on walking so cant comment on the surrounding area, but sorry, we wont be returning to this site.
Brilliant Site
Brilliant site with brilliant views. Watched the dolphins whilst eating breakfast one morning. The site is well run by excellent staff. First time in Northumberland which we absolutely loved. Whilst walking over the old bridge from Berwick we even spotted an otter fishing.

A First Time Visit
Instead of travelling abroad as we usually have we had decided to tour Northumbria. What a delight it was to arrive at Berwick Seaview Campsite situated high on a hill over looking Berwick. The reception we received was excellent and the selected pitch easily accessible and with a good view. We cycled to Berwick and explored the stone built town a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return again if in Northmbria
Excellent and relaxing
Just stayed at this site, it has to be one of the cleanest and well looked after sites with the friendliest and most helpful staff. The shower blocks were always very clean the grounds really well looked after.
The wardens were always very friendly and helpful going that extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The site has amazing views and is so easy to find with great access.
It is a very relaxing site and so peaceful. We can't praise this site or the staff high enough and we had the perfect holiday. The pitches are not crammed together and there is a wonderful feeling of space.
We will be returning to this site and were desperately sorry to leave.........Cant wait to return!!!!!! Thank you to the wardens excellent people!!!!
