We stayed here for a couple of nights and were delighted with the views and facilities nearby. The site is compact and tiered on a hillside so that virtually every pitch has a fine view of the harbour. The warden was very helpful on arrival when I wanted to change my pitch location and type. There is a lovely sandy beach when the tide is out and many people take their dogs there for a run. A bus stop outside the site is very convenient to get into the town if you cannot face a 30 minute walk.
While in Berwick we had lunch at the Limoncello Restaurant. The lunch time three course menu was £4.95 and an absolute bargain if you like pasta and pizza. Service was good as well. We would certainly be happy to return to Berwick Sea View.
Great mid week value for money site.
We have just spent five days up at Seaview and had a thoroughly nice time. The weather was good for a couple of days and a bit ropey the rest – it did not effect us as there is always something to do up there no matter what the weather throws at you. The site was about half full (or half empty depending on your point of view) and we paid for a couple of nights up front and played it by ear as to how long to stay. I find that it is better to do that than pay up front for a set period – it gives us the flexibility to do what we want. Bargain mid week prices – under £15 a night and what great prices compared to what some CL’s charge at this time of year. Full 16 amp hook up and services – very good value indeed. Mind you there was one downside – the water pressure in the showers was dismal. It seemed that it had been turned down so much that the rain outside was more powerful. Shame really but there you go – save the world and all of that! We will return!
Forgot how lovely this neck of the woods was
Great weekend spent at Seaview, safe, sunny and very helpful attendants, immaculate facilities- incredibly clean, nice walk into Berwick and surprisingly nice shops when you go out of the Main Street, great start to you caravaning journey, would defo return. You can hear trains but they don't run during night so really doesn't bother you, wish Marshalls camping store was still there, loved browsing the camping goods, new store not quite the same but wouldn't put us off returning!
Stunning views
We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2015 on our tour of the borders and southern Scotland. Stunning view over the sea. The facilities were spotless, plenty of hot water in the showers. Had a bit of a problem finding the right pitch, the warden didn't explain that it was tucked behind another one and was just a stretch of grass. Had to drive round the site again but found it eventually. Had a walk down to Spittal and on the dog friendly beach which was lovely. Would make this a stopping off break on way to or from Scotland again, not sure I'd want a full week here.
Excellent Site
I have just returned from my first visit to this lovely site and will definitely be back. From the stunning views from just about every pitch to the friendly and helpful staff, well kept site and good, clean facilities I rate this one among the best I have visited. Yes there was the noise of the trains passing quite regularly but after the first day I hardly noticed them except maybe to look out to see them crossing the viaduct occasionally. Other than that this is a nice, peaceful site and close enough to Berwick on Tweed and other attractions on the Northumberland coast to keep you occupied for several days. Or just sit watching the world go by and looking out to sea!

Excellent site
Good clean well kept site, helpful friendly staff been a few times and definitely will be back.
Excellent Site
Our first CC site and an excellent choice! From the very friendly and efficient welcome to the cheery best wishes on departure it is very difficult to find any fault. Proximity to the main East Coast railway means that whilst not really intrusive, trains passing have a small impact on quietness. However, this is offset by the lovely views across Berwick harbour and the River Tweed.
The facilities are immaculate with the toilet block spotless and in first class condition.
Berwick town is a 30 minute flat walk away - head down to the riverbank immediately turning right and then cut through the houses to the river. A lovely walk using the old bridge into the town - exploring the town walls is recommended!
All in all, an excellent introduction and a 'hard act to follow'! Thank you to all staff who obviously take pride in their site.
what a wonderful view
This site was easy to find and the welcome was warm. We were invited to drive around the site and select the pitch that we preferred. The views from almost every pitch were good because of the elevated nature of the site.
Berwick is full of surprises and we found lots to do after we had completed our cycling trips (many cycling opportunities available). Highly recommended.

A Northumberland Gem
Lovely site with magnificent views over the sea and the town of Berwick. It is well placed to enjoy the peacefulness of the site and close enough to enjoy all of the amenities of Berwick.
We could only stay for one night due to work commitments but we will certainly be back there as soon as we can.
Second Vist this year
Stayed here in June this year and just knew we had to return. This time the site was obviously very quite but everything was as before top rate. The winter wardens were very welcoming and went the extra mile when we arrived very late because of an accident, just a simple telephone call to them and a late arrival plan was hatched. Great site, area, views and everything else. Many thanks
