We have just returned from a week at this site. It was very relaxing and a very friendly site. The wardens couldn't have been more helpful. I don't understand some of the negative reviews I have read. It is made very clear that you can't book in before noon so you can't complain if you get there at 10.30am. Also the toilet cleaning is at 11.00 - 12.00 so I am confused by some of the earlier reviews there as well. We could totally understand why you needed to walk to look at the pitches. It was fully booked when we arrived and we arrived later than we had planned so not much choice but we still had a lovely pitch and we were told we could change it after the weekend when it wasn't full. We didn't need to. The walk into Catsfield is lovely and from there you can walk into Battle. Our dog has had to come home for a rest!! We would definitely come back to the site.
