Still one of our favourite CAMC sites and boy will we miss it once it's gone (finally!). Booked to stay with friends who'd never been - by the way they loved it (and Bristol) too. We'd not stayed since 2018 but knew what to expect. Really friendly, excellent wardens currently on site. Easy check in and chose our pitch. Our friends turned up a bit later than us due to the usual M4/M5 hold ups! We were still pitched not far away from each other, although it was busy for February. Facilities are looking a bit tired now but always very warm and clean, a credit to the hard working wardens. Undercover washing up area, laundry, information room and recycling all on site too. It's all about location with this site. Back gate (security code required to get back in) onto the waterside. Easy walk into Bristol. Pub next door (didn't use this time) and Morrisons Daily a 5 minute walk from the entrance. Bristol itself has so much to see and do and would easily keep you busy for a week. In 3 days we did the city, walked to Cabot Tower and Clifton/the bridge. Hoping the local council will extend the lease but will try and get booked for another short break before the end of this year (just in case!). It's not a cheap site but in our opinion it's well worth it, just for the location.
