We've stopped here several time and really love the location. If you are looking for peace and quite this may not be the site for you. Located in a busy and vibrant city you can often hear sirens and traffic and the general city centre noise, through in for good measure seagulls and sheets clicking against the masts of the boats outside the site. This for us is part of the charm off the site. The Cottage Inn right next to the site is great for some afternoon drinks sat watching whats going on the harbour. From the site you are right onto the flouting harbour, from there you can walk all the way around with great bars and restaurants half way around. Full marks to the Managers on site who do a great job of keeping an old site in the best possible condition they can. It will be a true loss to the site network when the lease finally runs out, until then we will keep coming back.
