Why so few awning pitches?

I know the rule and regulations regarding spacing between units but there did seem to be ample space on at least some of the non awning pitches to make them suitable to be awning pitches without losing any of the total number of pitches. I was surprised at how quiet the site was, little or no traffic noise from the road, the noise from the river was pleasant, the rowing teams and the noise from their rowlocks !!! Also hearing the enjoyment of the children in the yachting and canoeing classes. I would certainly recommend a visit to the M shed museum (past when walking into Bristol) and if you are lucky enough to get a behind the scenes tour ,as we were, jump at the chance. While in the M shed we were taken into the adjoining L shed where some of the things are stored that due to lack of space are not on open display. All free of charge. I found Bristol to be very disjointed and can think of a number of other cities to visit again in preference. I seem therefore to be one of the few who cannot see themselves visiting again
