Superb city site

Never managed to get in before, wow what were we missing!  Gate on site opens onto riverside path, 20 mins to city centre, or you can get a ferry.  A few steps in the other direction is a pub overlooking the water where you can sit outside and watch the sun go down (and they serve great food, beer and wine!) Stunning view from our caravan took in the iconic coloured cottages and the suspension bridge. Such a quiet spot which really surprised us, the only sound at night was from the boatyard (the masts tinkling) and some Canada geese on the river.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fight the council over the lease, it's an amazing jewel in the Caravan Club's UK crown, and really not an ideal location for a school, due to it's proximity to the river. Nearly forgot to mention the friendly hard-working and dog-friendly wardens.
