We're just back from 3 great nights at this little gem and wished we'd used it/discovered it years ago! It will be a great loss if it does close finally in a few months time. OK, so you really do have to pre-book to guarantee a pitch but that never bothers us. Wardens (especially Myra) are lovely and can't do enough for you. Small shower/toilet block but always clean with laundry, under-cover washing up area, information room and recycling. We had a lovely central pitch. No satellite signal but after some tweaking with our new TV and using the hook up we got loads of free view channels. Bristol itself is a fantastic city, vibrant, multi cultural and really interesting. We walked for miles, saw loads and still didn't even scratch the surface! The back gate onto the waterside directly from the site is great. Good pub next door (pub grub and not over priced), and a newsagents just down the road from the front entrance. Good choice of travel to/from the site from walking to bus/taxi/water taxi! We really want to go again and explore the city even more so please reconsider Mr Council Man!!!
