This is possibly the most difficult site in the network to get a reservation since it is always full. This is partially because it is quite a small site with the majority of pitches being for motorhomes. The site is really a big car-park broken up by patches of grass. The attraction is the location which is right on the waterside on the redeveloped Docks. There are many reviews of the site but I have not seen any which mention that as long as you have a river fishing license you can fish for free on the dockside and there are lots of fish both sea fish and coarse varieties since the water is brackish. Perhaps I was a little cruel calling the site a car park but anyway the facilities were immaculate during our visit. Can be a little noisy if you park alongside the back hedge but considering it's location this is to be expected. All in all one of our favourite sites.
