Have a great stay at Baltic Wharf.

If you are reading this then you have already read some really good reviews of the site. I do not have much to add. It is a small and compact site, but most members will be booking for its amazing location within Bristol Docks. With only limited sites open during the winter months this is a fantastic find. Bristol Docks are really people friendly, you are able to look around businesses and talk to ship builders and other workers in the dock area. There are huge numbers of eating and drinking opportunities around the quay as well as on some of the moored crafts. The dock museums and exhibits are all well worth visiting. You may even spot the Aardman studios based here! Bristol itself is full of beautiful buildings and really serious shopping. Again the planetarium, aquarium and zoo are all great for all the family. If you can, try to go into Clifton village and visit the Suspension bridge (you can see it from the site!). To point out faults I can only think that it is a bit noisy during the day, the pub is busy and some of the Rowers are a bit loud whilst training in the dock. I also think it is a bit pricey for low season, but I may well becoming old and grumpy! Have a great stay at Baltic Wharf.
