Half Term visit

Returned on Sunday after a five day stay. As with the other reviewers it is such a shame about the closure. This is a busy site which brings people to Bristol all the year round adding to its income. The sale of this land by the council will be a short term bonus compared to the long term gain from tourists. I did not use my car once which was a bonus for me as I got to see lots more. There is a ferry into Bristol or the bus which stops outside the gate. So much to do in Bristol, theatres, science centre, aquarium, cinema, shopping, both high street retailers and individual outlets, lots of cafes and restaurants and so much more. The tourist information centre is very helpful, its on the left as you get off the ferry. As for the site, it maintains the usual club standards, very clean and tidy with friendly helpful wardens. Also try the pub next door, lovely food and very handy if you don't want to cook or walk far.
