We’ve stayed at Baltic Wharf several times and always look forward to it. This time, with the pandemic and with the sword of Damocles hanging over the site, the dynamic was obviously different. The roadworks outside and the crazy route you have to now take to get in is another issue. That said, the staff are good and the location is just the best. I do have one criticism though, which is easily rectifiable. The toilets have the most pathetic flushing system that I’ve encountered at a club site. Probably in an effort to save water, a flush sends a cup full of water down the pan and makes no impression on the contents whatsoever. The occupants, in order to save embarrassment, are forced to stay in the cubicle, await a refill and then the same happens. They are ridiculous. Even I, as a basic DIY’er could rectify that. Allow some more water into the cisterns for heavens sake. Rant over. Still one of our top 5 sites. So sorry that it might be the last visit.
