Very busy site with all gravel, level pitches. Helpful staff and excellent facilities, which are able to cope with peak demand. Location is outstanding for a city break, easy walk/cycle/water ferry to downtown Bristol, covered market, historic streets and attractive harbour life - all make this a great city break. Plenty of eating places, well worth using Groupon vouchers to reduce cost. SS Great Britain, M Shed (museum), Clifton Bridge and Science Centre (aimed at children) are all well worth visiting. Great site, we will visit again. Probably a bit urban for young children?
