Had high hopes for this site but was really disappointed when we arrived to find our so called pitch was just parking up in a gravelled ‘car park’. Facilities are in need of updating and the site is definitely overpriced (£29 per night). Paid just over £10 for internet access when there really wasn’t any and it was a complete waste of money, really frustrating. Staff weren’t particularly friendly which makes me question why it had five star reviews??? The site’s huge saving grace is when you open the back gate and are transported on to a lively waterfront with lots going on, lovely riverside cafes and bars and a ten minute walk into Bristol. Also water taxis run into the city from just outside the site. My advice don’t have high hopes when visiting this site.

We called at this site on our way to Cornwall a few years ago and absolutely loved it. In fact we liked it so much we managed to arrange a stop over for a few days on the way home.
It used to be one of the sites in the club which was really hard to book because of it's popularity. I must admit we were disappointed when we heard it might be closing as we'd planned to go for a proper break there.
It must have changed radically since we visited as it was as I've said a gem of a site.
