This was our first stay at Baltic Wharf. The history surrounding the area is magical. The site is perfectly adequate and well tendered. The road noise at night is quite intrusive but expected in a city centre. We will probably go back as the city has loads to offer and we only scratched the surface. The pub next door offers very basic food only. The Slug and Lettuce at The Harbourside has a 50% off of all food on Monday nights and the menu and food was pretty good. The Stable restaurant at The Harbourside has pizza, pies and cider as its menu and the atmosphere was buzzing - highly recommended - book in advance.
