We have been waiting to visit this site since we joined the Club. Finally, two days before we were “off on a trip somewhere” this month, we looked on the booking site and - joy of joys - a vacancy for two nights. We grabbed it! When we were actually on site we managed to obtain an extra night and we had a great time. Yes, okay, the site is a bit like a car park with little landscaping around the pitches but this time of year we wanted hard standing (and walking to the very clean and well kept shower block). All that can be ignored with the easy access to the city, the helpful site manager and, by following the Club’s directions, easy access to actually get on to the site (although the very tight, sharp left turn into the gateway should be emphasised more). It is everything that the positive reviews say about it. Easy access to the city by water, bus or walking. Bristol is a vibrant, historically interesting city that a mere three nights couldn’t begin to do justice to. While we were there we were lucky enough to have quiet and well-behaved neighbours just like us and the traffic noise outside the site walls didn’t bother us at all. Definitely a return visit desired.
