Welsh Wonder

Visited Woodykiln during our visit to Wales during early July. The pitch, electric supply, wifi, views and the owners were all perfect!

A hidden gem near some lovely beaches

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Dean who gave us lots of information on places to visit, local walks and places to shop. The site itself is very easy to get to with no narrow roads, it is well laid out will all hard standings and each pitch has its own water tap. it is very quiet and peaceful and for £10 a night has to be the best bargain of any CL. We will defiantly go back as long as its not booked up (word soon gets around)

Brilliant!! can't wait to return

It is hard to find anything but praise for this site, such a warm welcome and everything as we had hoped for. With two elderly dogs, the adjoining fields for walks were particularly welcome. Looking forward to returning soon.

If Carlsberg did CLs.

Great site, well maintained. Wonderful welcome from Dean and Sharon including a superb information pack. Faultless EHU, WIFI and television links, water on pitch, field to exercise the dogs, it goes on and on. We spent a week in Pembrokeshire and thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though the weather was not good, to say the least. I would recomend this site to anyone. Ron Lloyd

Super site

Dean and Sharon made our stay memorable, they are excellent hosts. The site as previously reported is excellent both in terms of facilities but also on cost. The coastline is breathtakingly beautiful, we had some great walks, seeing seals and numerous unusual birds. There is a (better) route to access the site, so would recommend contacting Dean for details. Would certainly return but at more 300 miles not sure when. Good luck to you both in this venture. By the way, the local fish and chip shop was excellent.

Another Excellent Stay

We visited Woody Kiln for the second time in June. Once again we were greeted with Dean and Sharon's infectious enthusiasm and enjoyed another great stay. The local pub was up to scratch with some great food and we used the local bus to take us to Dale for a walk back along the coastal path. A new fridge was fitted in the Information Hut and stocked with some great local produce. The local home cured bacon, BBQd for breakfast, went down very well. A great CL in a great location with local pub/shop a few minutes away and Sandy Haven just a few minutes more!

What a little Gem !!

A lovely site to stay on. We received a very warm welcome from Dean's Mum who made sure we were happy with everything and then we met Dean and Sharon later. On arrival we found our pitch easily and were given a very informative welcome pack. Each of the 5 pitches are hard standing with their own electric hook up, water & TV signal. There is free WiFi on site which is a lovely bonus. In the information hut there is a fridge with meat from a local butcher, ideal for the BBQ plus other essential supplies. There is so much to do around the area and we need to come back to visit more. The coastal path walk is lovely, well the bit we did is !! I can't rate this site enough and with the proposed toilet and shower block for 2017 it will certainly be my top CL site. Thanks Dean and Sharon for a making our stay perfect.

Best CL in Pembrokeshire

WE have just returned from 14 nights at this fabulous CL. We arrived after a very long drive and were given a very warm welcome from the owners. The CL is all hard standings which are spacious. The pitches all have their own water, electric hook up and TV connections. The waste facilities set a standard that all CL,s should have. Well designed and clearly marked and easy to access and use. There is so much to see in the surrounding area that you can go somewhere different every day. This is without doubt the best CL I have stayed on for a very long time.

Delightful Site

Ideal location for visiting Pembrokeshire, with the coastal footpath just minutes away by foot, and easy access to Milford Haven to stock up. Dean & Sharon are excellent hosts, very informative and anxious to make your stay perfect, aided by  Dean's parents when not available. Great information & welcome pack indicating pitch on arrival. Extremely clean & well laid out site, just as the online description, with more facilities planned. Thanks for super stay, including organising the weather!

Best CL we've stayed at in 25 years.

What a gem! Woody Kiln is a fabulous site with all you need for a comfortable, happy holiday. Sharon and Dean are friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating, where possible. We stayed for a week, and would have happily stayed longer. WiFi for our son, and a dog friendly beach for the dog a comfortable 20 min walk away. Having reliable electric hook up and individual water supply on each hard standing pitch made the chores easier to cope with. My advice to all caravaners is not to judge the site by googlemaps. There was not a single glimpse of any industry from the site. It is idyllic.  Can't wait to go back.
