We stayed here for a quick stopover to Whitby. We were met by the lovely and very helpful Julie. Site is easy to find down a long farm track. Recycling facilities nicely marked on site. You will require levelling blocks. Walking you will need to get into your car as not a lot near site. It was lovely and peaceful would return to sit and read and enjoy the quiet. She also supports a dog rescue centre and you can see the dogs exercising in the adjacent field.
What a find what a gem of a site, 20,000 acres of pollutant free skies, expansive views, immaculate newly installed all necessary facilities and the pitching surfaced I liken to the fairway of a golf course. Entertained by gipsy the friendly horse and his two Geese pals, warmly welcomed by the lovely Julie, our short stay was an enjoyable relaxing experience, we've booked to return next week. One of the best, WELL done Julie.
We have just spent 9 peaceful nights at this lovely site. Site owner very helpful & provided us with maps & lots of local information. There are lots of lovely walks & is great for dogs. Market Weighton is only a few minuets away with 2 super markets & plenty of nice shops. The Bay Horse pub has good food & does a carvery on wednesday night. Will use this site again.
Our owners took us to Woldsway for a weekend break, which we love because we get plenty of walks.
Julie, the lady who owns the site, met us on arrival and during our stay was a very good hostess.
Nothing was too much trouble, she even loaned us an OS map of the area.
The site is on a gentle slope and the vans are well spaced out.
At night all we could hear when we went outside was the sound of owls and a fox.
We would recommend this site as one to try.
By the way, our owners liked it too.
