Welcoming CL

Just had Easter on this site, Thursday till Tuesday (today). Arrived a touch later than anticipated to find Tim there waiting to guide us into the site and direct us to the most driest of the 5 pitches, due to the amount of heavy rain experienced in the area the site was rather sodden, so much so as Tim had to cancel some bookings bookings to prevent members getting stuck, Tim couldn't have been more helpful, even lending us an extension to connect to the EHP. Toilet usable, would be much better with a coat of white paint instead of bare brick. Would stay there again no problem..

Great CL

Lovely CL with lush grass and good views. Very handily situated and with a good gastropub a few minutes walk away. Entrance needs care but is not a problem. The toilet may not be to everyone's liking but serves its purpose. You are made to feel welcome and the site is in a lovely area. Will visit again.

Superb Site

Tim was most welcoming and offered lots of local information. Excellent views and very quiet with easy access and level pitches. Good local pub a short walk away in the local village.

Excellent site

We have already visited three times this year and will be going again very soon, Mr Sedan (Tim) is very friendly and always helpful. He keeps the site in excellent condition, mows and cleans up the grass afterwards. Peaceful surroundings with a visit every now and again from his cows - not in the same field I hasten to add! Southam close by with all the usual take away's and a Tesco's. A great site.

Peace and Quiet in Rural LocalPlacesOfInterest

I regularly stay at Withy Tree whilst running training courses in the area. I choose to stay at Withy Tree despite driving past several other CLs and sites on my way to the venue. The owner, Tim, is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The site itself is grass which is regularly cut, even raked by hand afterwards to stop your van getting messy. As you can see from the photo, the location is superb with views to the farm land across the valley and some terrific sun sets. Accessed via a single track road and surrounded by fields on three sides, you could be in the middle of nowhere, not on the doorstep of Leamington Spa, Coventry or Stratford. So if you want to stay in this area, the site has the essentials (electricity, water and disposal) and is a great place to rest and relax in peace and quiet.

Disappointed

Met by Tim who showed us where to pitch but at first glance it was obvious that this site was not an acre as advertised. A rough pace out worked out at 1000sq yd ( less that a 1/4 acre ) Maybe an acre if you include the area of the cottage, Nissan hunts. drive and "toilet". Space is what we were looking for. The " toilet" could only be used as a chem waste disposal point, was damp, dirty with a broken window and no where to wash your hands if you were brave enough to use it. The taps had hose pipes on them leading outside, and to cap it the drinking water tap was inches away. Another guest was taking bottled water because they found it unhygienic. A great location and the grass well cut. A rethink need to be re product description. Sorry but to date the worst CL ever visited
