This site is nice, not remarkable but nice. Very hard to find as there is no visible sign from the road. Neither the name of the house or the campsite itself.
However, the absolute plus was a box for deliveries making Amazon etc so easy. I wish all campsites had this as it is a definite bonus and a life saver for longer term campers. There is also a fabulous launderette not too far away which was fantastic.
However the electricity supply is atrocious. Just about managed to boil a kettle on a good day but forget about hot water and heating. I asked the site owners on a couple of occasions if it was my van or the supply and they went to great lengths to say it was not the supply when they knew very well it was.
I had even booked my van into a local repair shop for them to have a look and got the details of the repair shop from the site owners. Nuts.
Also the Elsan hut is filthy. I gagged when I saw it. Really really nasty. I may have been spoiled but all the other places I have been have had spotless Elsan points. I am surprised it gets CL status from a well respected motorhome club.
The site needs a bit of work and money spent on it and the electricity needs changing. I wasn't the only one having problems. One couple left a day early as they were so fed up with it. Just a bit of honesty would have put my mind at rest that my motorhome was not at fault.
And clean the Elsan point!
Peaceful, pretty site with friendly, helpful hosts.
We are 6 days into an 8 night stay and have been most happy here. We have a hardstanding pitch in this level meadow.
The pitch is a great size with plenty of privacy with a hedge to one side and the rear and some pretty trees to the front of the other side, still leaving space for a good sized garden area in addition to our 2 cars, the van and the awning.
There's a pretty wildflower meadow with a couple of neatly mown tracks to walk. One leads to a pretty little pastel painted bench and table.
Well behaved dogs are welcome and there is a small paddock where we were allowed to let them off lead.
Roger and Shirley couldn't be more welcoming and we will definitely be coming back.
The 6amp electricity hasn't been a problem as we have cooked mainly on gas. The 6 amp runs the fridge and water heater or microwave no problem.
A gem.of a site which I'vealready recommended to several people on Facebook.
7 nights wonderful stay
Shirley and Roger were most welcoming, good easy access for our 8ft wide Buccaneer. Pitches are well spaced apart and the site is a pleasant mixture of wild flowers and grass, and well tended cut grass on the pitches. It is a great base for numerous attractions including Arundel and the Slindon Estate which is great for dog walks. The site is very dog friendly with walks mowed into the wild flower areas. Just be prepared not to use an electric hob / hairdryer due to the 6amp supply, which is just about okay for the microwave with everything off. Not a criticism as it's stated on the details, but would be happy to pay an extra fiver a night for a 13amp supply (Could be due to cable size or other restriction). The site is very clean and well maintained with all the facilities you will need. We are looking forward to going back again, as it's not far from home but you feel 500 miles away.

A lovely stay
Stayed here for 3 weeks. Shirley was very friendly and relaxed, the countryside is beautiful. Plenty of dog walks locally and pretty villages around. Easy access to the A27 and the A29.
Highly recommend this CL.
A great place and great stay
We have just arrived home after a great long weekend stay at Winter egg farm.
A very peaceful relaxed site with spacious pitches in a pretty and rural location and everything is very well kept. Loved the wildflower meadow and pond.
We managed to do lots of walking with our dog in the local area along with fitting in a visit to a tea room or local pub en route. Slindon and Amberley are definitely worth a visit if you like walking.
We had absolutely no problem with the electricity and managed to use all our appliances including a microwave, hair dryer and hair straighteners.
We will definitely return to this beautiful and peaceful site.
Quit site
We liked the pitch and the site, but it was a pitty that there was not a toilet or shower and that is very unfortunately , otherwise we stayed longer.
Great Find!
We have just come back from a wonderful weekend at Winter Egg Farm.
Easy to find, just off the A27 and A29, with easy access into the site.
The site is well laid out, very clean and tidy.
Both Shirley and Arthur, the owners, couldn't have been kinder or made us more welcome.
The site is very quiet, with a lovely meadow to look out on and plenty of birdsong around. A real gem in the Sussex countryside.
Plenty to do and see in the local area, including walking along the river Arun to Arundel, as well as many pretty village walks around Walberton and Slindon.
It was lovely to return to the peace and tranquility of Winter Egg Farm after our days out exploring. We would highly recommend!

Winter egg farm
Just stayed here for 7 nights. Lovely C L. Would definitely use again if in the area. Shirley and her husband very friendly and helpful. Very peaceful and pleasant. Singleton open air museum not far away, also Amberley open air museum. Cycle track down disused railway from west dean to Chichester , (about 6 miles) not far away and a lovely walk by the river at Arundel
Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable and Peaceful
We have just completed a 7 night stay at Winter Egg Farm, we are due to stay there in July and we have booked a further stay in the autumn so I think that says it all on our opinion of this certificated location. It is in a peaceful and lovely location with easy access to Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Arundel and the Southdowns. The owners were on hand for queries but not intrusive. I think a mention about the 6 amp electricity supply is relevant not as a criticism but so that members are aware and can plan their stay accordingly. I have a load monitor for electricity and I used a maximum of 1kw at anyone time and this was sufficient to charge the battery and use the water heater on its lowest setting throughout our stay. Obviously we were unable to use the microwave or electric hot plate etc but we just used our gas supply to supplement the hot water and cooking when necessary.
Peaceful site
Lovely peaceful site. Loved watching the goldfinches and kestrel feeding Off the wildlife meadow.
Shirley could not have been more welcoming. Would love to go again in the winter/spring season but feel that we would need 10 amp electric not the 6amp that’s provided at moment. Would be willing to pay a bit more a night to pay for the better amps. Really enjoyed the stay there.
