A lovely spot for an Autumn break
We've just spent 3 nights at this lovely little site.
We were met by Christopher on his tractor who kindly suggested we park the 'van next to the hardstanding area. This made a huge difference of keeping the floors clean. The gift of half a dozen eggs and a useful welcome letter was a really nice touch. Patricia met us later and gave us some good ideas for walks nearby.
It's a really handy spot to explore local places such as Delamere Forest, which is in walking distance, and the Anderton Boat Lift is just a short drive. Both are great for dog walking which is a must for us.
The local village has a well stocked Co-op / Post Office and a pub.
We can definitely recommend the site, although we did almost drive past as there isn't a CL sign up yet, so you need to be on the look out for the entrance.
