Just wow 🤩
We have just come back from our first trip to this beautiful CL and it certainly won’t be our last, we all absolutely loved it !!! Large pitches and tons of room for the kids to play, you have to use your own amenities at the moment but that’s not a problem it’s soon to change,Me and my hubby took our 10 year old granddaughter and her friend and neither wanted to leave. What a wonderful 2 night break we had the dog loved it too especially her designated play area for her to run free, goes without saying it is preferred you keep them on a lead at all times to protect all of their beautiful animals and of course yours, Patricia and Chris (your hostes) have gone to great lengths to make this happen. Scenery is beautiful, a narrow lane to reach the farm but well worth the risk of a tractor coming the other way 😂 I’m sure he would be delighted to reverse back to an opening to let you pass. The Red bull pub is within walking distance, very friendly again only just opened back up so not serving food at the moment but a very nice place, a co-op also walking distance.
The girls and I had a fabulous farm tour to meet all of their beautiful animals, it shines out so much how much each and every one of them is so loved 🥰 Patricia also has quite a few rescues ie giant rabbits, ducks, chickens, Ginny pig’s and a delightful Jack Russell called Spud 😊 I could listen to Patricia all day long she has some wonderful stories to tell. We were lucky enough to meet all the new piglets too and of course lucky the calf with their own stories to tell. The highlight for the girls was to get to ride one of the pony’s 😊 thank you Patricia for that you made their stay so memorable as it was their first time riding they send you a big hug. Well I could go on and on but I’ll leave the rest for you to discover this is a CL must but please leave room for us we will be back 👌 nearly forgot 🙈 thank you for the fresh eggs on arrival they were delicious and didn’t last very long 😋 we brought some home too. Ps……. They have lots of great things planned to make it even better if that is possible in the near future look out for their news we can’t wait. 10/10
5* Welcome
Well what can I say.. an absolute MUST!
If it’s peace, tranquility and wonderful hosts then this is your place!
Whilst you need own facilities it’s a small price to pay for a fantastic homely welcome.
Our second visit with friends and for sure there ll be more!
The owners couldn’t be more welcoming and the love of their animals is indescribable.
Adults and children alike would love the farm visit and free eggs on arrival too!
Walton Hall is only 20 minute drive away and The Red Bull pub is within walking distance of the site. A co op is also in walking distance of the site for provisions too.The market town if Frodsham with shoos and eateries and supermarket is just a 5 minute dive so a super location.

Fantastic CL
Just returned from a weekend at this wonderful CL.We were greeted by Chris on arrival,he made us feel most welcome and left us to set up.Access to site is down a narrow but quiet country lane.
Patricia came to see us later, and kindly gave us half a dozen eggs which were most welcome.
There are lots of animals as it is a working farm, and we met most of them on the farm tour, which is an excellent bonus of staying here.Walk to Delamere Forest is easy from the site, with excellent views en route in fabulous countryside.
While there Patricia was most helpful and answered any questions we had. There is a fabulous pub,The Hare and Hounds which is a pleasant walk from the site, which serves excellent food.
The site is very quiet except for the sound of birdsong, calves and ponies.
We will definitely return very soon.
One of the best sites
One of the nicest sites I have found.
Complementary free-range eggs from that day.
Lots of very accessible animals to watch
Very friendly mix of equine entertainment .loved the calf's and all the wide variety of Patricia's rescued friends
Thank you for a memorable stay will be back. Les.
Friendly CL
Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at this site. Friendly owners, flat site with electric hookup, dog area & plenty of space. Entrance is down a quiet country lane & through the farmyard. Optional farm tour & 1/2 dozen fresh eggs on arrival. Plenty to do in the area. Views from the nearby Sandstone trail & Beeston Castle are spectacular. Half an hour from NT Dunham Massey which was a lovely day out. Salt Works and Anderton Boat lift in Northwich good too.
Great site for families
What a lovely site! Friendly, welcoming owners (who greeted us with fresh free range eggs), grassed, level site with a gravel drive running alongside for easy access. The farm tour was interesting and our children loved grooming and riding the ponies. New Brighton Beach is only 40 mins drive away with free parking, toilets and facilities, Lifeguards (when we were there) and is also dog friendly. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with plenty of things to see and do and Chester is not far away. We had a fantastic week at this lovely site and will definitely return.

First experience of a CL - loved it!
Beautiful location. Greeted by the friendly owners and half a dozen of their free-range eggs :) we were taken on a tour of the farm and as an animal lover I absolutely loved being surrounded by baby cows!! Would definitely recommend this CL. It was our first experience of a CL and it was extremely positive :) the owners provide a detailed letter with local important numbers/information and more importantly...local pubs/walks and attractions.
Definitely recommend for families
We’ve just stayed for 3 nights at this lovely little gem of a site. The owners and their wider family are extremely attentive and go well out of their way to make you feel welcome. The kids absolutely loved grooming the ponies and they were even treated to a little ride (the owner spent around an hour grooming and racking up the horses, just to give the kids a ride!). We all loved the farm tour, which lasted around an hour, and informed us about the history, and running of the farm. My kids absolutely loved this place, we saw a baby calf being born, they’ve petted pigs, cows, horses, ginuea pigs, rabbits, you name it!! Free fresh eggs on arrival, we will definitely be back.
