Beautiful site

I stayed for 3 nights, just me and my dog. A lovely, warm welcome from Emma’s dad, who was holding the fort for a couple of hours. Well laid out pitches with benches and picnic tables for visitors use, the whole site is beautifully maintained and clearly a lot of thought has gone into making it. Huge pond with geese and ducks, it was lovely to sit on one of the thoughtfully placed benches and watch the birds, or just to sit in the sun, relaxing. Great notice board in the information office, with a map highlighting local pubs, amenities and places of interest, it came in handy when planning a bike ride to include a pub lunch. There is some road noise, as the A63 is just a field away, but overall I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Emma and Emma’s Dad for the making me feel so welcome.

Lovely Cl

Stayed at this Cl the first weekend after lock down. Having looked at the photos and other reviews thought it would be a nice. The site was beyond our expectations. Very friendly welcome by Emma good size hard standing pitches all with lovely views of the pond. Nice touches throughout the site and around the pound just makes it so welcoming. Toilet facilities are good and very clean. Would highly recommend and hope to return soon Jim and Lorraine

What a place

Well I would like to say don't visit this site, but that would be doing Emma and Darren a grave misjudgment, and greedy of me as I just know the next time I try to book in I know it will be full and so it should be, being one of the very best we've had the pleasure in staying on, the whole family being very helpful , the site is super clean with a well stocked fishing lake a 20 min walk into south cave leads you to 3 pubs 2 of which are eateries and can highly recommend the cave and go for the Sunday lunch sharing platter, a super play ground on route to the pubs will keep the little ones happy with a variety of rides Good luck with this venture but I'm sure you won't need it as it's a winner Thanks bev and garv

A Little Gem of a CLSite

Stayed at this lovey peaceful site last week made perfect by the weather. We were lucky enough to be there and enjoy the baby goslings ducks and moorhens as well as the other wildlife. The site is kept immaculate all pitches with views across the lake and facilities all kept very clean and tidy. We were made very welcome by the owners Emma and Darren who were very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area places to visit and eat. We will certainly return very soon and would highly recommend this site if your looking for a relaxing stay set in the Yorkshire countryside.

A must!

Fabulous CL in a beautiful tranquil setting. Lots of wildlife, ducks and geese. The running ducks were my favourite. Short stroll to both South Cave and North Cave villages were you can find fish and chips, a few pubs and convenience stores. Close to the Yorkshire Wolds Way for walking with views towards the Humber Estuary. Emma & Darren the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Within minutes of arriving Darren had helped us getting water as our hosepipe didn't fit the tap.

Paradise in Yorkshire

Willow pond camping!! Our first time out in the Motorhome and our very first time on a CL. We had a great time and I cannot find enough words to praise this wonderful place. Everything was perfect, even the British weather. The site was spotless the pitches were ideal and it was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful setting. Our hostess Emma was lovely, friendly and very helpful. We will be back there soon xx

Lovely site

Just had two days here and what a lovely little site. Easy gravel parking facing a picturesque pond. Husband fished and I chilled out with a good book. There are a number of good walks in the area. The sun shone and it was really peaceful. Emma was a most helpful host and we shall certainly return.

AMAZING CL

This is one of my favourite CLs . It is in a semi rural location yet convenient to Hull, Bevrley, York, Market Weighton and many local villages. The pitches are well spaced out with stoned hardstanding. There are views from all pitches of a Lovely pond. The owners are friendly and welcoming.. it is very clean and tidy Great to sit and watch the ducks and fishermen from you caravan window!. Good TV reception etc. Really enjoyed my stay. Thank you

A hidden gem

We stayed here in between lockdowns last year. The owners are to be congratulated on the development of this absolutely beautiful site, set in the foot of the Yorkshire wolds. This is such a lovely area to explore. We had a very warm welcome from Emma and Darren (owners) who couldn't do enough for us. The facilities are over and above what you would normally find at a CL. We will definitely return, once the current lock down comes to an end.
