Return to Paradise.

We have been visiting this CL for many years and will keep returning. The CL owners, David and Barbara, are superb hosts and they have created a wonderful haven of tranquility (not withstanding the occasional F15, which we happen to enjoy). The layout of the CL is excellent. With the mains hook ups in the middle of the site meaning you have a wide choice of areas in which to pitch. If you wish you may pitch next to one of the many water points and have yourself a fully serviced pitch (including TV) for no extra cost. The summer house contains many books, DVDs, magazines, tourist information leaflets, local walks and contact details for doctors & vets etc and extra long TV leads should you need one. All of this is included in the overnight fee. There is ample space for car, 'van and awning. No crowding here. The site is level and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Word of warning: you must use the Handbook's directions when navigating to the site. The stated route is by far the best way.

Great site. Lovely owners

A lovely warm welcome awaits you. The site is well laid out with plenty of space. It is well maintained, and a lot of thought has been given by the owners to make it easy to have an enjoyable stay. Hope to return.

The bar has been set very high.....

This was our third caravan adventure and our first visit to a Club CL. Although we are on a steep caravan learning curve, our CL bar has now been set high as we compare our CL experiences when we visit more CLs on the Club network. We both received a warm welcome from David, who gave us space to practice our reversing -thanks for your patience David – in conjunction with great snippets of caravanning knowledge to help us brand new caravanners. Do follow the Club directions, as this will guarantee an easy tow to the wide Wildemere Farm site entrance. Wildemere Farm is level, well mowed and provides a tranquil setting for a relaxing visit. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay! Nearby walks tired our chocolate lab’s in no time; plus the village of Mildenhall, with its US culture, is only a ten minute drive away if you need to shop for supplies or tuck-in to Sushi, Indian or Chinese cuisines. Wildemere Farm also provides a summer house (?) containing, books, DVDs, TV hook-up cables, etc for a no-charge borrow. We hardly heard aircraft noise from the nearby US bases and the local woodpeckers are tolerable. Thanks again David and Barbara for the steer and advice; you’re a credit to the CL network.

One of our favourites

Great site, particularly in the winter, when the well drained grass makes it an easy site to use. The owners are lovely people and even provide a summer house full of magazines, DVDs, things you might have forgotten, bird seed and all sorts. They even sell loo roll and chemicals. Pitches have their own tap and TV point. It's just great! Kids love the woods around Mildenhall and the great play areas. One of our favourite CLs in 5 years of caravanning.

Just Great!

We stayed here for a week (7th Feb to 15th). Despite the weathers efforts to spoil our week away this site was just the ticket. Very helpful owners and nothing seems to much trouble. The pitches are grass fairly level and drain very well and the site is well sheltered from the wind. Each pitch offers super pitch connection. We had a great week and will return.

WOW & You can say that again

I have caravaned on and off for nearly forty years and I can say without fear this is the friendliest, best kept and cheapest site I have used. Miss it at your peril if you visit Suffolk. Thank you Mr & Mrs O for a wonderful weekend.  I would normally not give a review to such a site, being selfish and wanting to keep it for ourselves but the purpose of the visit was to find a house, which we did, so probably won't need a site so near, although you never know.

Excellent!

Very attractive and sheltered site. Extremely welcoming and friendly owners. Loved the 'information hut'. Stayed for just a couple of nights to try out our new outfit. Would definitely recommend and look forward to a return trip.

Wonderful site!

We have just returned from a 3 day stay here and we think it is absolutely fantastic! The owners are lovely & could not be more helpful & friendly, the site is very well thought out. There is a hut with lots of info on the area plus there are books & dvd's for campers use also little items for sale with an honesty box for payment. There are bird feeders around the site with sacks of feed in the hut so you can top up the feeders if you want too. Twice daily visits from the owners son's goats in the next field made our day! We think this is the best site we have visited so far, it is very peaceful and a haven for wildlife. We will definitely be back :-)

Relaxing

A lovely relaxing site. As said before some aircraft noise but not enough to spoil the stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It!s what I`d call a hide away site, not really suitable for families as there is nothing for the children to do.We`ve just spent 10 days there and have booked to return at the end of July
