Superb owner
We have just come back from a 2 night stay at this site and despite its closeness to Holt and roads it is a haven of calm. Sue the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area
There are an abundance of EHU's spread around the site and you can choose where you pitch and can do so in any direction. All pitches are grass but it is a well drained site, we had no difficulty after all the rain maneuvering our van conversion around. If you had a heavy Motorhome then Sue recommends parking on the left hand side and to be honest that side had the best views. Levelling ramps may be needed. There is clean basic toilet cassette disposal facility & freshwater plus recycling bins but that is all that is needed. It is literally a 5 Min walk into Holt with its myriad of independent shops and we found a lovely dog friendly cafe called the Wandering Whelk. There are a few good dog walks from the site down the disused railway line, our only disappointment was there were no round walks that brought you back through Holt to the site. Speaking to a local they said the Landowners had shut the permissive paths a few years ago sadly that would have made a few good circular routes. We were just sad that we did not have the time to stay longer and explore more. On my list to return to at some point.
