What a fab site

We have just spent two weeks at this fabulous site. Peaceful site but close to all amenities. Owners were helpful and welcoming. Very relaxing stay. Plenty of wild life. Loved watching the buzzards. We didn’t want to go home. We will definitely be back. A great place to stay. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Beautiful location

We have just returned from our four night stay at White House Farm where we enjoyed the most peaceful and tranquil stay with our children. The location is stunning, enjoying deer and amazing scenery. The children were thrilled to see their first woodpecker too! They were able to cycle and enjoy exploring the woodland safely. The site was immaculate and well organised. The pitch was huge with easy access. The owners were friendly and helpful and we will be booking our return trip very soon!

Beautiful, peaceful and well organised.

I booked just a couple of days in advance and the owner was very helpful and informative. She was relaxed about our arrival and departure times which was useful for us as we had our two autistic grandsons with us. On arrival, we received a lovely, friendly welcome from the owner who explained where everything was and asked that we respect the hand sanitising requests at the service points. She was very thorough about keeping safe during the Covid 19 pandemic (in a very nice way without being officious). The site was well laid out. There were plenty of water stations, and the refuse area was neat and tidy and well signposted for recycling. The waste area was secluded and like the est of the site, very clean. The surroundings were beautiful. The site nestles in beautiful countryside with large fields to one side and woodland to the other. The pitches were very large with hard standings and a choice of being near the open fields or more secluded near the woody area. The service points were lit and there was a light by each of the electric hook up points. The children were allowed to run freely and play ball games and the owner said they could have ridden their bikes around if we had brought them. It was so quiet and peaceful and they thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of running around, throwing balls for the dogs, playing cricket and exploring in the woods. My husband and I will be visiting again soon without the children as we had such a lovely time and feel that this is the perfect get away for a quiet break.

Lovely!

This site is well designed (as you would expect from caravanning owners) with large hardstanding pitches that are well spaced. Everything is as you would want from the water taps to the toilet emptying point. Slight background noise from the road but that does not distract from it being a lovely site. We will be back!

Warm welcome, spacious site, very well laid out, easy to find

What a excellent site - can't fault it. Good hard standing with well-lit electrical points and very welcome perimeter lighting. Thoughtfully laid out with an easy chemical toilet disposal point, drinking water taps at intervals and rubbish disposal point with well-labelled recycling bins. It's obviously been carefully planned for maximum ease of use. Lovely woods for dog walking - it's a working farm so keep your dog on a lead. Tranquil, surrounded by fields, we were truly delighted to find such a convenient site close to home. Looking forward to a return visit.

Little gem

We booked this site due to its proximity to a job we had promised to do. We were warmly welcomed and invited to choose our pitch. The water tap on site was frozen when we arrived so we were glad to be able to fill our aquaroll at the farmhouse, however the frozen tap onsite was soon rectified by the site owner, never to be a problem again. We would recommend this site for its peaceful ambience despite being not far from the A22. We will have no hesitation in booking this site for a holiday. Lovely site, lovely people, good night's sleep!

Pleasant CL

This was very easy to locate with very easy access whatever vehicle you have. A circle of hardstanding and surrounded by trees. 16amp, good clear recycling facilities. A very tidy, clean and level site. Beautiful area to explore with Sheffield Park and Ashdown forest close by. Some background road noise but a lovely little site and I’m sure we will return.

Fantastic Site

I stayed at this lovely CL just before Christmas and I can't say enough good things about it. To start with the Entrance was well signed. Welcome really friendly. Sites marked out were large and very well spaced. Facilities were easy to use. The whole site nestled in a woodland has easy access, and was very well maintained. The bus stop and little town are easy to reach by foot. (Had lovely day on bus in Brighton) M/H user

A Little Gem

A cracking CL Site massive space between pitches, hard standing nice and level with plenty of room for our twin wheel full awning and water butts. We spent Christmas and New Year and had some beautiful sunsets to. The EHU is 16 amp with no problems of tripping there is no showers block but with a modern Caravan or motorhome its not needed, perfect for couples and dog friendly. Will be returning very soon.

STOP AT THE HOUSE BEFORE GOING TO PITCH!

After visiting this site on previous occasions as it was a lovely peaceful site, we arrived and began setting up. On previous visits we had been told if no one was at the house to go on through. We did not see any cars so assumed the house empty. Wrongly as it transpired. We had parked and were just setting up when the owners of the CL site turned up. To say we were thoroughly chastised was to put it mildly (for not stopping at the house) it was not the welcome we had previously experienced. We had immediately apologised but that clearly was not enough we were told to move the caravan due to leaf blowing. We had both been really looking forward to this short break and to have been spoken to in such a manner, felt the magic of the place had been broken. We decided to leave, it would have helped if we had been told of the leaf blowing when we had booked the day before as we would not have chosen to visit,on this occasion
