A Lovely CL

We have just spent 7 nights on this excellent and well-run site. Our welcome from Clare, and later ED and the kids, was lovely as were the eggs! The view from the site is spectacular and you can watch changes of weather as they develop and stream past. Access is easy and the very useful village shops 10/15 minutes walk away. The dog was very happy on the field in front of the site and Clare provided a very useful info. pack. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

View makes it spectacular

We stayed here this summer and felt we should just sit breathing in the vista!  Easy to find, access is very good and with instructions left on the board we were set up in no time.  Claire was very helpful, arriving with an information pack and 6 eggs!  Highly recommended!

White House Farm

This site is easy to find and enter, there's a board at the gate listing which pitch to use, and these all face a 180 degree view of the Shropshire hills. A peaceful site run by friendly, helpful people, central for access to many places of interest in the area. The only drawback, which has nothing to do with the site, is to be careful of your fuel levels. We found fuel stations are few, though there is one in the nearby village, so top up before you go out! We will definitely be booking again next time we are in that part of the world..

Fantastic!

Just returned from a fabulous long weekend at White House Farm CL.  The site was really easy to find and has an elevated position giving fantastic views all around!  A board at the gate told us which pitch we were on and we were soon pitched up.  Claire came to greet us with a welcome pack full of information on things to do in the area and half a dozen fresh eggs (nice touch)!  There are plenty of walks in the area and we completed the Loggerheads Loop, finishing up at the Loggerheads Pub for a fantastic Sunday lunch.  At £14 a night including electric hook up it is fantastic value for money and we will certainly be back soon!

The CL with a fantastic view.

We stayed on this site in mid September, luckily the weather was great.  The site is superb with a very friendly welcome and excellent facilities, being 650ft above sea level the views into Shropshire and Cheshire are breathtaking.  I have no hesitation in recommending this site to members.

10 out of 10

We visited over Easter Hols this year. This site has fantastic panoramic views, it is clean & tidy & lawns well kept. Had WIFI for the teenagers. Friendly welcome from Claire with some delicious free range eggs which came in handy! As well as a welcome pack full of local information & advice on local areas of interest to visit. All pitches have hook up. All positives and No negatives. We certainly hope to visit again

Easy and with a panoramic view

I stayed on this site for just one night as a stopover. The panoramic, unobstructed view, as far as the eye can see was wonderful. It was easy to drive straight onto the pitch - and also easy to hitch up and go - no need for the mover. The field was at a slight slope but the cl helpfully provides wooden blocks to counter this problem. I found it to be a breeze to pitch because of this. The site is very well maintained, neat and tidy; it is clearly a site that the owners take great care of; a labour of love . The cl owners were extremely helpful and supportive to me when I hurt my foot and had a car problem. They even offered to fill the aquaroll for me! I hope to be back and stay longer soon.

Best CL we have stayed at

Amazing CL!  We have just returned from this CL which has to be our favourite site yet.  Great location and easy to find with views for miles and miles.   Loggerheads is a 10 minute walk with Co-op, takeaway and pub. We were given a great welcome pack (and a box of freshly laid eggs!) from the owners on arrival which included local information, takeaway menus and walking guides for the local area. We stayed here with our 3 year old daughter who loved the chickens, rabbit and cows.. there was also loads of room to play in the field without interfering or obstructing other residents... another nice touch was a box on site containing kite, bowls, cricket bat & ball, tennis & badminton racquets. We look forward to staying here again soon!

Lovely Peaceful Site

A great CL site easily accessible from the M6. Mr and Mrs Martin greeted us with a welcome pack containing places of interest, walking maps, recommended pubs/ restaurants plus a box of their free-range eggs. The site was spacious with spectacular views and well drained grass pitches. Had a superb meal at the Peel Arms and plenty of places to visit within easy distance. Thank you for a lovely stay and look forward to visiting again.

Superb CL

We have just stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a lovely welcome from Claire and Ed. The prepared information pack is extremely useful. We found a couple of walks from the site and there are plenty of pubs about. The view is amazing; you can see so far west! Definitely a place to recommend to others and to return to.
