spotless

We were met by the owner on arrival and shown our pitch. The pitches are sloping but our ramps were used to level our m/h.The site is immaculate with all the water, waste, electric and recycling at hand.Great views as well as the sheep and Charlie the dog in front of our pitch which was a delight to watch during feeding times! A lot of effort and thought has been put into this cl.The views are great even though it was overcast and drizzle at times. The Co Op is a 20 min walk from the site as is a pub but we did not use it.We will be back!

The warmest of welcomes and the most stunning view

We will be sad to leave here tomorrow. The site is clean, tidy and has the most amazing 180 degree view across three counties. The owners are so lovely and welcoming too. A perfect place for a quiet getaway. The village is only a short walk away, and Market Drayton an easy drive for anything you might need. We especially enjoyed walking along the canal towpath. The pretty and large village of Eccleshall is also only 8 miles away, and a fairly easy cycle along a stunning B road that would also be a great ride on a motorbike! Thoroughly recommend you stay here.

AN IDEAL CL

We stayed at White House Farm for a long weekend. The views across to the Cheshire gap are stunning. The site has a number of hardstandings which slope down towards the fence and TV reception is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this site to other members.

Wonderful view

I can only agree with previous reviews. We were given a warm welcome and a gift of fresh farm eggs! The view is absolutely wonderful and the site is so peaceful, definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic site

Absolutely superb, great location, great welcome and the welcome pack contains so much informationn For walkers this is a dream so many and a real mix of long and short, Staffordshire council well done on your leaflets and to the CL supplying them and keeping them up to date. So surprised that in 6 nights we stayed we had one outfit for 3 nights and one for 2 so 3 nights all to ourselves! Obviously not too many people know about it! Thanks for a great stay and well done to you for the hard work and attention to detail.

Superb!!!!

We booked at short notice by e-mail and had a very speedy response. Very easy tow even with our big outfit and clear directions. A notice at site gate gave us a pitch number. The site is sloping but with a ramp under one wheel and the blocks supplied we were soon level. Lovely welcome from owner's family and Charlie the dog. Sunset was wonderful! Will return. One word of advice for members arriving for the first time- you come upon the farm lane quickly and the entrance is partially hidden by trees, go carefully after the right turn.

A gem of a CL

We had a brief one-night stay on this CL in our motorhome, on our way north to the Lake District and were very impressed with it. The 180 degree view from the elevated site was simply breathtaking! We had a lovely welcome from the site owner, who gave us an information pack about the area and six eggs! Very kind. The pitch was sloping and even using our levelling blocks we were still on a bit of an incline, but it was clean and with water and recycling facilities easily available. The CL was full on our night there, but pitches were suitably spaced, so it didn't feel crowded and we were on the end pitch which gave even more space. We did not have time to do much on such a brief visit, but we walked into the village of Loggerheads and enjoyed a very good Chinese meal at The New Ambrosia restaurant. This CL is so good that we wished we were staying longer and will certainly try to return.

Wonderful CL, perfect tranquility

Sadly we only stayed for one night at the end of January 2017, we will be back very soon for a longer stay. The site is perfect, tranquil with incredible views that must stretch 50 miles west into Wales and North towards Liverpool. Ed and Claire are lovely and made us very welcome, Claire's gift of free range eggs made a delightful Sunday breakfast. Access to the site is really easy even with a large van, the facilities are fine and all very close to hand, the free wifi is great and the location is just close enough to the village for an easy walk to the shops or pub, but far enough out for no disturbances. This is a treasure of a location, we can't wait to go back.
