So peaceful

We couldn't get to the site on the day booked due to delays on the motorway through a major accident. I let the owners know and we arrived early the next morning. We received a warm welcome and were shown where the facitities were. The toilet and shower room were immaculately clean. We were thrilled by the abundance and variety of birds who visited our bird feeder. Quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. Would definitely recommend this CL.

Great Site And Frendley Owners

Have used this site for years while attending and exhibiting at the RAF Cosford Food Festival which takes place towards the end of July each year. Very helpful owners who cannot do enough for you on arrival, in fact I am off their today

Do visit it's lovely!

This is a lovely site with a really helpful and friendly farmer ready to help with any enquiry. It was so peaceful with lovely surrounding countryside and good facilities. Don't be put off by comments re chocks, you do need them, but it took us no time to level our motorhome. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby but you will need a car to get to them unless you do the fields walk across to Albrighton. (This is also the easiest route for dog walking as there aren't other footpaths immediately available on foot from the site.) This includes a short stretch of quite a dangerous road (no pavement) but can be negotiated with caution. The Indian takeaway will deliver there if you fancy that! We would be happy to return anytime we're in that area.

Heaven

Pitches are a slopping and you need blocks but the grass was kept lovely, the views of the lovely sunsets were amazing. The CL has a toilet and shower always found very clean. Nice and quiet although it has a main road passing. Not that long a drive to Telford and the many attractions of Cosford Air Museum and Iron Bridge. Very friendly owners,we will come back here, it is heaven.

Excellent Location

We don’t use enough CL's but this will rate highly. Didn’t expect Electricity, seemed as though we were parked on the front lawn. Very friendly owner. We stayed at the start of our holiday as we were visiting the RAF Museum at Cosford next day - which we could see from ten site. Thoughts of staying here for the airshow are in mind! Would recommend to anyone - didn’t hear any road noise although exiting can be a bit hairy as traffic doe go quite quickly along this road.

Marvelous CL - A must to visit

Four of us in two units have just returned from a weekend at this CL. We wanted to visit RAF Cosford which is only a 5 minute drive away. The owners were so friendly and helpful and gave us a few recommendations which we followed up on. The site was lovely and peaceful and had lovely views across the countryside. If you're interested in cricket (which we are), there is the local cricket club across the road which I went to watch for a couple of hours - very relaxing. A must visit CL and we hope to return in the near future

Ideal for RAF Cosford

We stayed with a motor home in July. Our sat nav took us to another farm but once we found the CL the the arrival experience was great. We chose the overflow field as we wanted to make sure that we had enough space for our motor home and trailer without being too close to others. The toilet and shower were kept very clean during the 5 days we stayed. We visited Albrighton, RAF Cosford, David Austin Roses, Black Country Living Museum and Much Wenlock. There was some road noise from the road at the end of the drive but this didn't spoil our stay. Special care was needed if walking or cycling from the site due to this main road. Overall excellent value for money and well placed for many attractions.

Great CL

This site is what CL's are all about to me, all grass pitches and neatly cut grass, good views to front over fields. The owners are very helpful and let you get on with things whilst always there if needed. There is one toilet and a shower in separate buildings, they  could do with a sink by the loo otherwise if the shower is being used you cannot wash your hands, although I didn't see anyone use the shower in a week I was there. Great place to explore the local area of Iron bridge gorge and RAF cosford etc, if you go to RAF cosford buy a sausage roll, the best Ive ever had. Would definitely use again if in the area.
