Great tucked away find
If you pick CL's via pictures, you'll know that they can be very flattering when you actually arrive.. However, when the CL does not have a picture, which can also make you suspicious. It is a shame there are no photos of this one, it really is a gem.
I know much is often made about the contact visitors have with the owners of sites, in our three days we didn't meet the owner and had paid in full up front. Whether the excuse is Covid or not, I quiet like this approach, Mrs Green was pleasant on the phone, and the site was in a well maintained condition, so that is another tick from me.
My only challenge was finding the water, which is 'hidden' inside the barn nearest the site. You need to go round the other side. I found the chemical disposal whilst wandering around the same building.
The Green's have another site across the road, we walked through and had a look at that too. We found that was also pleasant and had more space, although the toilet waste was a little stinky,
I would certainly recommend Whey Curd Farm, a bonus was we noticed the Marsh Harrier fly around all 3 days, and the dawn chorus went on and on. Not a road sound at all.
