Over the years we have visited this site many times but this time we did not see the owners in the week that we stayed here having put our payment through the door as requested.
The peacefulness of the site hasn't changed but whereas all five pitches used to have wonderful views across the fields, the trees have been allowed to grow up and block the view from pitch one and two which is a shame.
Still a lovely site with short grass and being so far from the road perfect peace.
Superb site. Lovely owners.
What a lovely place. Mr and Mrs Green were very welcoming and helpful, even though I had mistakenly booked the wrong site.
The setting is so tranquil and the farm and site is kept immaculately. The site is just a short walk along a quiet road the Carpenters Arms where the food is very good, if a little pricey. But beware! If you have not booked a table, you may be unlucky.
We will definitely be returning to this very well kept CL
A quite and tranquil cl
Recently we visited again Mr. & Mrs Green`s wonderful hide away CL in Norfolk.
We have visited this CL many times in recent years and have always come away happy and relaxed.
All of the pitches are very well kept, nice short grass and if you like bird watching there is no where better within the local area. The problem is, getting in as many members also like this site.
So thank you very much to Mr, & Mrs. Green for anther nice stay.
Great tucked away find
If you pick CL's via pictures, you'll know that they can be very flattering when you actually arrive.. However, when the CL does not have a picture, which can also make you suspicious. It is a shame there are no photos of this one, it really is a gem.
I know much is often made about the contact visitors have with the owners of sites, in our three days we didn't meet the owner and had paid in full up front. Whether the excuse is Covid or not, I quiet like this approach, Mrs Green was pleasant on the phone, and the site was in a well maintained condition, so that is another tick from me.
My only challenge was finding the water, which is 'hidden' inside the barn nearest the site. You need to go round the other side. I found the chemical disposal whilst wandering around the same building.
The Green's have another site across the road, we walked through and had a look at that too. We found that was also pleasant and had more space, although the toilet waste was a little stinky,
I would certainly recommend Whey Curd Farm, a bonus was we noticed the Marsh Harrier fly around all 3 days, and the dawn chorus went on and on. Not a road sound at all.
A most peaceful and restful site.
My wife and I have ben visitors to this CL for many years. Your are always assured of a warm and friendly welcome from Mr & Mrs Green. The site is very well kept and managed and now has Wifi connection for those who need it. Clearly this CL is one of the very best and we hope to be able to visit it again (if we can get in)

Lovely quiet location
This is a very nice site although it was a little difficult to find as there are two areas at this location. We were allocated the Old Playing field but at first we didn't see it and went directly to the area by the main house. We were directed by other caravaners to the upper field but still could not work out how to get into it. Better signage would be helpful. However, it was a really nice area and had plenty of room between each outfit. Lots of wildlife around especially birds. Good value for money and would use it again if in the area.

Peace and Quiet
Well spaced pitches nicely kept. Close to Wells which is very nice. Also enjoyed a visit to Cley where there have a great smokehouse with a fantastic selection of fish.
Just perfect
We recently stopped here for two nights and I can honestly say it was a pleasure..Brilliant, well spaced out pitches which were clearly marked..Lovely lady who greeted us and showed us where everything was..Beautiful village although there was no shop it didn't matter to us as we had everything what we needed..The village pub The Carpenters arms is run by a very friendly , funny and kind Danish man and his wife Sue with superb food at very reasonable prices..Someone staying in the next CL site had forgotten their eggs so he gave them some bless him ..Great atmosphere in there and we made friends with a few couples off other CL sites and had a great laugh swapping stories of sites we had stayed at..The scenery and the Farm itself was stunning with loads of wildlife and bird life everywhere..On the farm they had a resident pair of little owls and a pair of oyster catchers .. A bus service runs from the village at the top of Buddels Lane every hour and there are plenty of options for cycle routes in the area with On Yer Bike providing bike hire too ..All in all, if you want a peaceful holiday 3 miles from the sea then this site is for you ...PERFECT !!!!
Great place to stay.
We recently stayed at this site for three nights. Adults only and no dogs suited us to a T. The site was easy to find and each pitch was secluded from its neighbour by hedging and trees. The Three Horseshoes Pub in Warham in the next village is worthy of a visit. The food is excellent very filling and the decor and pub are very old world. There are lots of leaflets about places to visit and you are only two miles away from Wells next the sea. We would certainly, if in the vicinity, stay here again.
