Excellent site. Friendly warm welcome. We were the only unit on the site - secluded and quiet except for a little road noise which was not a problem. Very easy access from the A17. Disappointed that there was no bus form the village to Lincoln on a Saturday, but the train was fine.

What a great site

Just returned from another visit to Wharncliffe Farm, as always a warm welcome from Doreen. Lovely site beautifully secluded. So much to see and do locally. Definitely worth a visit, we will certainly return.

Great CL!

Have not stayed here for a number of years - but still a gem! At £12 per night, you really can't go wrong.....fresh eggs available; great pub within walking distance and a decent sized Co-op too. Bikes would defo be asset though! We will certainly not leave it so long before the next return!

Warm welcome at Wharncliffe Farm

We arrived for our Bank Holiday stay and was welcomed by Mr & Mrs Bailey who are both lovely people. Once shown to our pitch we set up and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the many types of song birds singing. All 5 pitches are very spacious on good level short grass all with EH points and 3 drinking water taps. There's 2 toilets and an elsan point just at the side of the site. The dog walk is perfect and makes this site one of the best we have stayed on. The weather was on our side this weekend so we walked into Ruskington village which was around 1 mile in the afternoon to sample a few drinks at the local pubs and the best one we found was The Shoulder Of Mutton which served some lovely cask ales. We really enjoyed our break here and will definitely be booking again for next year. Well done Mr & Mrs Bailey for running such a good CL site and being the perfect hosts.

Festive break

We used this site to visit family in the area over the Christmas holiday , Mrs Bailey gave us a warm welcome but advised that we must use the hardstanding area due to soft ground on the main field which looked very pleasant, this was fine with us. We would definitely us this site again if in the area.

Lovely quiet site

We stayed for two long weekends in July and August to break our journey from Devon to Northumberland. Access is very easy and plenty of space for each pitch which was beautifully mown. The site is very secluded and they have huge field for dogs to run in. Less than a mile into Ruskington village where there are very good shops, pubs takeaways and fantastic fish and chips. It is on a chicken farm but we hardly noticed any smell from them. Sort of site we would like to have near us for the odd weekend break.
