This site is just like a large garden, the grass was cut and it is surrounded by trees and bushes but still quite open due to the size.
We received a warm welcome from Mrs Bailey, and were able to choose a pitch and could park at any angle we required.
The village of Ruskington is very pleasant with a stream and a nice selection of shops including a Co-Op supermarket, fish and chips and lots of smaller interesting shops.
We visited RAF Conningsby for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Tattershall Tower, NT. The church in Ruskington had a small fete and we won a prize on the tombola and enjoyed tea and scones in the hall.
We were only there for 4 days(during the heatwave) but will definitely return.
We had a stop over here last year on arrival there was no one to be seen had a little while waiting then shown to pitch, entry into the field is a little tight could do with opening the gap up a little scratched side of van getting in, every thing was good well looked after and could of stopped longer.
