Top CL

This Cl is a bit special. One of those that you want to keep secret. But that would not be fair on Nick the CL owner. He is a lovely chap who all he wants is for us to be happy. Genuine contender for CL of the yer. The views alone are worth the fee. Will definately go again. Les and Ve'

Fabulous!

Stayed here last week.  The only word to describe it is fabulous.  Nick was friendly and helpful.  The site facilities are first class.  There is even a shower for your dog!  Lovely farm walks and a path marked out to the local pub where you can get good food and drink. Best CL I've stayed at and I do over 100 nights a year.

Probably the best CL ever!

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of September. The site was like a mini caravan club site! The owner was so helpful and friendly and took an obvious pride in maintaining the site. It is well laid out, spacious with great views. Perfect location for visiting attractions in Cheshire. There is a information shed where you can buy free range eggs and the owner sells his own beef. Each pitch is fully serviced. It is an exceptional CL and will most certainly be in contention for CL of the Year. The owner deserves for this site to be a success given the effort and investment that has gone into it.

OUTSTANDING

we have just returned form a 2weeks stay at this lovely cl. Nick the owner has thought of everything here, probably having had a caravan himself he knows what we like. Each pitch is fully serviced so there is no lugging water and waste. The views are wonderful from every pitch too. If you want peace and quiet with excellent facilities then this is the place to go. A real credit to the owner who works so hard to please all his guests nothing is to much trouble. Just what a cl should be like.

Good addition to the CL Network

We tried this CL on our way from the South to North Wales. Lovely high point to see the countryside and very peaceful. Dog walk spectacular and really enjoyed the walk Nick has laid out around the farm. Friendly family and loved the meat from the farmshop.

WOW!! Stunning.

This site is superb! The pitches and grounds are immaculate; mown grass, hanging baskets and flower troughs, level gravel pitches all with a view to die for.  Every pitch is fully serviced. There is an elsan point and an information cabin.  Nick is extremely helpful and friendly, helped me to back my caravan in. The steaks from the farm shop were so tasty.  This site really is special, I didn't want to leave. Already planning my next visit.

Superb CL

Just back from a three night stay at this excellent CL. Fully Serviced immaculate large pitches with probably the best views overlooking both Cheshire and Derbyshire. Nick is very friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough to help. We sampled the steaks which were excellent and have brought more home with us.  Jodrell Bank was a good day out, you can see the Lovell Telescope from the site.

Outstanding

Just returned from a fantastic weekend. Greeted By Nick who runs it well done to what you have done made it so great. Fantastic big serviced pitches . The views are gorgeous all round plus Jodrell Bank behind in the distance, plus the cows which came to greet us. Nick has put a path to the Red Lion pub then made a bridge over so no going on the road great idea. The Sweetenham Arms was lovely had a drive there really nice. The farm walk is lovely about 2 miles really nice & flat which is great on a nice day or night after tea . The meat I have bought not had it yet apart from burgers & sausage which where lovely. Will be coming again loved it one of the best Cl sites we have been on .

10/10!

This was admittedly our first caravanning trip but surely there can't be many CLs better than this! Superb views over the Cheshire Plain and Penines from it's hilltop location, very pretty countryside, peaceful, secure, a superbly friendly and helpful owner Nick, immaculate new gravel pitches (including electric, fresh and waste water hook-ups), lawn areas and facilities. Even a great short walk across fields to the excellent New England styled and foodie Black Swan pub. We were even invited to a lovely birthday BBQ by fellow vanners (along with all other vans on the site). What an amazing start to our new caravanning life!
