There is a well stocked coop 5 mins walk, and a caravan spare shop next door.16amp electric too.Best value cl ive ever been to I would highly recommend going,p.s full recycling facilities too.Im sure if you come here you will have a lovely stay.We have a twin axcel caravan and a nissan pick up with a large awning with still plenty of room. They also have lovely fun accommodation for people without caravans.

Dear Readers.

I just wanted to say a few words about our recent stay at Vennlake CL site near Bow, Devon. It's run by the Pengelly Family. We had a warm welcome by Dave the owner who was extremely helpful in sighting our caravan. Nothing was too much trouble. He's a very knowledgeably gentleman living on this site for 40+ years and with so many stories to tell. We'd booked a 6 night stay in earlier August 2024. ( 22ft Bessacarr single axle caravan unit)

Dave can recommend the best days to venture out and the best routes to take to get there. We'd chose Tavistock Market, Dartmoor Prison (in the fog) at Princetown. Oakhampton, the Abbey Buckfast Leigh and Drogo Castle to name a few. Beware of the single track roads on A382 in high season. We had a most enjoyable time at Vennlake Cl site and only a short drive to the a well equipped garden centre and restaurant. Vennlake was once a farm then a sawmills, before setting up his caravan site. It's a lovely peaceful place to stay with Power hook up and TV point, Hot showers and toilets are all available. At very reasonable prices. You almost felt like part of the family and we will returning soon sometime in the future. Many thanks Julian and Heather
