Well Maintained CL
Owners are very friendly and maintain the site to a high standard even providing dog bags. Access isn't the best but when you know to look for the wind sock it's easier. The weather was mixed but enjoyed our holiday June 2016. The down side is you take your life in your hands to walk on the busy road outside the CL and wouldn't do that with small children. Also there is only a very small dog exercise area. It would have been great if there had been somewhere to walk to over the fields.
Lovely!

What a beauty!
Writing this review will pain us greatly, as it will undoubtedly increase its popularity. Alas, its too beautiful to keep to ourselves. It's a scenic, well kept and located base. Wifi is excellent. Solar lights highlight areas around the enclosure. Flowering baskets on each pitch, water and waste area easily accessible for everyone and enclosed in a small shelter for the more inclement days. Super friendly owners who are very helpful. A wind sock is used to highlight the CL's location - Brilliant idea as you first arrive and then lovely to see during your stay to judge the wind direction and speed. We have two whippets and our neighbouring pitch had two Greyhounds, we both enquired about dog walking in the area. (Of which there is in an abundance.) As this is relatively newly opened CL the owners are still modifying and fully opened to suggestions, keen to make your stay as wonderful as possible. Returning to the CL that evening the owners had opened up a small enclosed area beside the CL to exercise dogs in. How lovely is that! Also taking onboard other suggestions about potentially creating a book with local walks for humans and dogs alike. We are regular all year round CL users, this site is now in our top 5…We will be back.
