Excellent CL

On our way back from Pembrokeshire we spent 8 nights at this CL to visit the Gower Coast. Well worth the visit, lovely site and Mike keeps the site in excellent condition and his always there if you need help. Will be returning to this site ideally situated for exploring the Gower coast. Must mention the wind sock which identifies the site entrance when driving along the road, brilliant idea Mike. Wayne & Anne

Well Maintained CL

Owners are very friendly and maintain the site to a high standard even providing dog bags. Access isn't the best but when you know to look for the wind sock it's easier. The weather was mixed but enjoyed our holiday June 2016. The down side is you take your life in your hands to walk on the busy road outside the CL and wouldn't do that with small children. Also there is only a very small dog exercise area. It would have been great if there had been somewhere to walk to over the fields.

Lovely!

A beautifully kept, well maintained CL site! nice size field. 5 hard standing pitches.. all fenced off for that touch of privacy. good toilet emptying and recycling facilities.  very friendly, accomodating owners.  ...would indeed like to be selfish and keep this site to myself for guaranteed spaces.

What a beauty!

Writing this review will pain us greatly, as it will undoubtedly increase its popularity. Alas, its too beautiful to keep to ourselves. It's a scenic, well kept and located base. Wifi is excellent. Solar lights highlight areas around the enclosure. Flowering baskets on each pitch, water and waste area easily accessible for everyone and enclosed in a small shelter for the more inclement days. Super friendly owners who are very helpful. A wind sock is used to highlight the CL's location - Brilliant idea as you first arrive and then lovely to see during your stay to judge the wind direction and speed. We have two whippets and our neighbouring pitch had two Greyhounds, we both enquired about dog walking in the area. (Of which there is in an abundance.) As this is relatively newly opened CL the owners are still modifying and fully opened to suggestions, keen to make your stay as wonderful as possible. Returning to the CL that evening the owners had opened up a small enclosed area beside the CL to exercise dogs in. How lovely is that! Also taking onboard other suggestions about potentially creating a book with local walks for humans and dogs alike. We are regular all year round CL users, this site is now in our top 5…We will be back.

Very friendly CL site

We have stayed at this site twice so far and it has now become our site of choice.  As we are fairly local, this is a site which we intend to make the most of as our weekend getaway.   The site is well maintained, even down to the pretty pots of flowers next to the entrance gate. The facilities are excellent and just what you would expect from a CL.  When we first stayed here last year we struggled with the mobile signal and lack of internet which wouldn't bother most people, but as my job dictates that I am able to work from home at weekends, this was a 'must have' for us.  However, there is now Wifi available on the site which is fabulous and very fast - faster than our own house in fact!   Mike and Jayne who run the site are fantastic hosts - nothing is too much trouble for them. It is clear that their priority is to ensure that their guests have the best stay possible, and they are always asking for feedback to enable them to improve the service they provide.  They are so friendly and welcoming that you feel like you have known them for years!   This site is in a premium location for exploring the Gower and is also situated just two minutes drive from The Greyhound pub and restaurant which serves excellent food.   This site is a real gem of a find and is somewhere we will be spending lots of weekends at.
