Gower at its best
Just returned after a 12 night stay at Tyr Coed. The welcome from Mike was as good as you could wish; we were made to feel very much at home from the outset.
The site is clearly marked out with each pitch in its own 'garden', with hanging baskets hanging from the fences and other planting around. The gravel hardstandings are level and no levelling blocks are required. the site is extremely well maintained, Mike cuts the grass at least twice a week. Recycling bins are clearly labelled, and include a dog bin with a supply of dog bags. Information of the local area and services are contained in packs in the wooden shelter. For dog owners there is a separate dog excise field adjacent to the main field. The coded lockable gate provided some reassurance when away from the site.
The view of the hills from the site adds to the overall experience. Rhossili Bay, and other outstanding beaches are only a short distance away, as are other local features and places.
In all our 15 years of caravanning, mostly on CLs, this was the best by far.
