Lovely site well located

Our 2nd visit; owner has fenced off some of the land since first visit making it a little tight to pitch (couldn’t have managed without a motor mover). 3 of the pitches have water direct to pitch, the other 2 need to go to service area. Unfortunately we were pitched under one of the large trees which were full of blossom at the time of our visit, after a very windy night car and caravan was covered (blossom not good for paintwork). I’ve only given 4 stars overall as I believe it’s a bit on the top side of pricing for non serviced pitch, albeit a great location for Llandudno and Conwy. Owner is friendly and welcoming, although as payment is made in advance you may not see him as he doesn’t bother you - which I’m more than happy with.

Very nice, but much more than a CL

There’s clearly a lot of money been spent here. There are 6 good size, separated hard standing pitches and at least the same again on grass. One night, we counted eight units? There are also glamping units, so guess this site is going to grow considerably. Contrary to what someone else has written, not all pitches have water. Some are also under large trees. Levelling ramps are required on most hard standing pitches for motorhomes. Well maintained site. Good access to the water, grey & black service point and one huge waste bin. But why no recycling? The road/driveway is quite busy as it also serves some sort of large office complex immediately behind the site. There was a lot of traffic between 8-9am, the noise made worse by the large speed humps (revving engines between humps). This continued throughout the day but to a lesser degree. The various trade vehicles just whizzed up & down! Bus stops at the end of the drive. No sign of or greeting from the owner. So no personal touch there.

Peaceful site, well connected to nearby attractions

Neat and tidy site with all pitches on gravel hardstandings with grassy areas between. Electric and water tap on all pitches and waste emptying and bins tucked away out of sight but nearby. Good frequent bus service running all day into Llandudno and Conwy from the end of the entrance driveway. Any walking from the site has to be via the main road as there is no direct access to the public footpaths just to the west of the site. Phone signal OK, TV signal excellent. All payment and contact with the owner was done in advance, and so did not see him at all during my stay. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful break, and as a good base for exploring nearby.

Well maintained and located

Excellent pitches. Good base for exploring with car or by bus. Didn't find much walking direct from site. Didn't see the owner at all during our stay and emails weren't answered.

Llandudno Caravan Park.

We stayed here for 2 nights March 1st-2nd. A very quiet, peaceful site, with hard standings. EHU, water, waste disposal etc, it is a very well kept clean site. A very convienient Bus Stop at the end of the farm lane making it very useful to go into town or nearby attractions, even better when you have a free welsh bus pass. We would recommend this CL Site, we met the owner on our last morning, Mr Mark Rutherford who was very friendly indeed. We will defo be returning .cool

Great time despite weather

Excellent site, with new hard standing, well-placed for the beaches of Llandudno and Conwy. February weather, but some brilliant sunny hours on Great Orme.

A Great Find

The first time we had used this CL. Fortunately, we had pre-booked. The site was full. Spacious pitches, each with it's own EH. Lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities were fresh water, grey water and Elsan emptying point. For anything else, the van facilities needed to be used. Getting around was easy as the bus stops were at short walk to the bottom of the lane. The no.5 runs between Llandudno in one direction & Conwy then Bangor in the other. We will be back again.

An Ideal Location To Visit Llandudno And Conwy

We have just really enjoyed four nights on this site as part of a Welsh tour in our camper van, as a couple with our Labrador dog. We wanted to visit Llandudno, and this location is pretty much ideal for that. A bus stop right at the entrance will take you there in just 15 minutes, or further afield the other way through Conwy and on to Bangor using the number 5 service. Although on the CL there is an EHU on each pitch, it is best to mention there is no services block, so the van's own shower room comes into play, with easy access to water and waste disposal. Everything was so well organised and extremely well kept with a very friendly owner. We can highly recommend a visit.
