Fantastic find

We loved this campsite and will come back again when we are in the area. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, the facilities were great, modern, clean and attractive. The views across to the mountains on one side and the moors on the other were breathtaking. Beautiful.

One of the best CLs we have stopped on.

My wife and I stayed on this site from 9th Aug to the 17th and if we did not have to be back we would have certainly stayed longer. Mr and Mrs Jones very helpfull and friendly. The facilities were very clean.Quiet site with wonderful views all round.  The next time we are in this part of Wales this is where we will be staying.

stunning

Stunning location beautiful views of the welsh countryside. Well kept site small Cl with small commercial site adjacent. The Cl was quite small but adequate. felt a little cramped at times when full quota of 5 vans in place, probably felt more so as there was loads of space on the commercial site that only had 2-3 vans in an area that would take about 15. we didn't see the owners during our 6 night stay but it is a working farm and we didn't need to see them. Toilet block is immaculate. great location for touring north Wales. Recommend Bodnant gardens NT spectacular. Local pub friendly but nothing too exciting. Would certainly return to this site if we are in the area.

Lovely

We stayed in this CL from a Friday night through to Monday morning.  It was our first experience of a CL and are very impressed.   What a beautiful setting, with views all around.  The seemed plenty of room for the pitches.  Ours was almost flat with just a slight twist of the van to get it sorted.   The owners were very helpful and friendly. The local pub wasn't overly impressive, but it's possible to be too picky! The site is is an ideal location to explore Betws y Coed which is about 15 mins drive away. We would definitely recommend this site. Ps, it's not overly sheltered from breezes, but that's a fair price to pay for panoramic views, perhaps?

Good CL

This CL is in lovely Welsh countryside with good views all around. The CL part of it was slightly smaller than I expected, although still large enough for 5 vans. Very handy to have electric hook up and a well maintained toilet block (although this is only small too, but seems ample for the site). The pub down the road is handy if nobody feels like cooking. We would certainly use this site again as our first choice in North Wales.

The approach roads (after turning off the A5) are rather narrow, but there are some passing bays and you're not on there for long. In fact the whole week we were there we never met another vehicle in either direction!

Friendly cat!

We loved our stay here. Very rural, great dog walking along the lane. Lots of room on site. Clean modern facilities. And a huge fluffy very friendly white cat!

Excellent CL site

A excellent CL site you must visit. Fantastic views all around. A well maintained site with a recently built toilet and shower block. Nothing is too much trouble for Mr and Mrs Jones the site owners, a very welcoming family. This was are first visit to the site but it will not be are last and would recommend it to anyone as they will not be disappointed. The pub is less than five minutes away and also serves food. What more can we say. Mr & Mrs Oldfield.

fabolous views

Arrived to this site in late afternoon, and found our name on the board with the pitch number on it. Very easy to pitch caravan and the site was pretty level. Nice toilet/shower block, though the showers appear to have had the heads taken off them, not sure why. There was also a disabled toilet/ shower area. only saw the owners when we paid , but i am sure if we needed them they were only across the road. Pub within walking distance, serves food which was ok. Hotel serving food in the village about 1 1/2 miles away. fabolous views of snowdon and mountains on a good day. Very quiet and relaxing site.
