Nice tidy site

This is a lovely tidy site run by a very welcoming couple. Excellent access to the rest of the island. The only downside for us was no access to footpaths near the site for dog walking or for days when you just didn't want to get in the car. Apart from that all good. Lots of people on site were regular visitors which says it all.

Wonderful site

Visited this site for 6 nights at the end of May and loved it from the first day. As we turned into the drive a sign told us which pitch we were on. No issues of how to pitch, and we had sole use of water tap which was a bonus. Waste was straight to hedge. Pitch 4 is a slightly sloping pitch but had great views across the Island to Snowdonia. John was brilliant and very friendly. Toilet and shower was about 400 yards back up the field and attached to he house, as was the chemical outlet. Cannot fault the site and chatting to other users who were obviously returners so proves how good the site is. Ideally placed for touring the island, but no dog walk apart from the field itself. Cycling is popular and we followed the route from Llangefni down to Maltreath and on to Newborough forest and ended up at the small island on the beach. Very easy if long ride, but no facilities on the beach or in the forest so take food and drink. Loads to do and see, Puffin Island, Penmon point, Holyhead, Trearddur Bay list goes on. Great for mountains, castles and beach's! 30/60 mins drive from Snowdonia, Caernarfon etc.

Spring 2014

What a good site this is. John and Rachel are lovely people. Shower and toilet always in excellent condition. We were on this CL last year and it caused us to return as one can see.

lovely peaceful holiday. facilities clean and tidy. didn't see owners was a note on post with site number on and 2 emergency numbers on door but difficult to pay as no one around but this did not really cause an issue as we caught a young man after school one day just a little concerned he was the right person.

Summer 2013

Visited this site throughout the summer. John and Rachel were very welcoming and accommodated our every need. Site is quiet and spacious and has lovely views towards Snowdonia. Great base for the island.

Tranquility

This was our first experience of a CL. What an brilliant place and as someone said John is a real gent. I was made to feel very welcome the moment I met John & Rachel. Top marks to the boys who stopped playing football while we drove across the field, thanks lads we motorhomers/caravaners can be a bit precious about our toys.A well organised little place, clean shower, lots of hot water and a toilet doubling as an information room. A water & electric supply to each pitch. Well maintained grass pitches all seem to be fairly level, number 3 certainly was. Only down side for us was the dog next door being a bit noisy. This was more than made up for by the beautiful shire horses in the adjacent field.on the other side

Thanks

Our first weekend away in a motorhome. Lovely site, extremely friendly, helpful owner and nice clean power shower. Many thanks also to the very kind previous poster who after some awful rain on Sunday towed us out when we became bogged down in the lower end of the field. We don't know what we would have done without you. XX . Will definitely try to park higher up next time. May even steal your spot!!!! Thanks L and I. Hope to meet up again sometime. Happy camping X

May 2012 visit

Weeks break in mid May (rainy for a few days but did not put us off). Fantastic views of Snowden (snow topped). Site very quiet and peaceful (exception of a few Hawks from nearby RAF base) and recommend for a break. 9 hole golf course 3 mins drive away (Monday madness best day) and excellent course at Beaumaris - Henllys- taking 2-4-1 vouchers.

Fantastic Site

To us this is the best site on Anglesey. The views are of Snowden which is fantastic. Two beautiful shire horses in the field next door that are very friendly. Very close to golf links and not far from quite a few lovely beaches. Now we have to say a few words about John the owner, what can we say? What a lovely gentleman he is, can't do enough for you. We've been going there for many years so we know each other well. Thanks John.
