Super site

A great site in an outstanding area. Wonderful scenery, well looked after flat site with all the basic facilities you will need for a peaceful stay in the Usk valley. Good access to local countryside and villages, including award winning Crickhowell. Great communication from the owners and very friendly welcome. Although next to main road, shielded by trees and really not intrusive or overly loud. Would thoroughly recommend this site and will be returning ourselves.

This is nice

Easy to find , drove in flat good solid field so easy , hose to fill up on our spot , the usual cl things all immaculate very safe sanitizer etc. View lovely and very pretty down by river. Walk into Crickhowell so easy pavement all way or riverbank slightly longer but nice also . Bus stop outside Brecon Abergavenny, pub very near. This site has all you need and more yes there is buzz from traffic but its outweighs location extra touches and genuine owners we loved it and will be a regular for us.

Nice new site

This is a well presented, flat site and despite torrential rain in previous days the ground was firm. Enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

What a little gem!

What a truly wonderful site . Easy to find on the A40 , easy access via a locked coded gate. A large well mowed field , select your own very large pitch/space . Magnificent views , so peaceful despite being close to the road . New Elsan point and washing up facilities , with fresh water directly to your pitched van via a large hose which runs around the perimeter of the site . A lovely stroll through 2 fields to the river Usk and a 20 min walk into Crickhowell. Warm, welcoming proprietor , clean facilities . A little gem of a site. We loved it and can’t wait to return. Excellent value for a spot of “ off grid” camping

Nice little site in a great location

We spent two nights here. It's a really nicely kept field with nice touches like a water hose running the length of the fence to make filling the van easy. New waste point and washing up sink all immaculate. Picnic benches for each pitch. Big field adjacent to walk the dog and access to the River Usk which is a lovely spot to take a bottle of wine for an evening drink. Great walking country - views of hills in every direction that are all waiting to be climbed. And easy access to the Brecon canal for cycling though we didn't do that this time. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it is right beside the A40 and the traffic is a bit noisy at certain times of the day. But that makes it very accessible with easy access to Crickhowell and Abergavenny.

Excellent location for enjoying the beauty of the Brecon Beacons.

Had a lovely one night stay. Directions to get to the site were clear and the location and the access onto the site were very good. The site has lovely views and is very well maintained and clean. We spent a peaceful evening overlooking the mountains after walking the dog across the fields to the river. 5 mins down the road is Crickhowell and we spent Sunday morning walking along the river ...... after a delicious breakfast bap at the local cafe. Very relaxing weekend. The owners of the site are very helpful and informative about the area and we wish them well in their new venture..... can’t wait to come again
