Good base for seeing South West Wales
Lovely few days spent on this dairy farm, Bit of a trek to the water tap by the entrance, when parked at the far end. New clean loo, but remember to take your own loo roll and soap! Lovely views and excellent walking. Have to say it seemed a very long 1/2 mile to the nearest beach, in Trefin, more of a little cove really sitting below the old mill, but you can swim there, ( fantastic sandy beaches a bit further afield). The local pub on the main road has no garden and no views , but the Ship in Trefin has a nice garden, views and serves good food and huge portions. Well worth taking a trip north to Cardigan Bay and south via St David's and Solva to Manorbier Castle (small, very prettty over looking a sandy cove - my favourite castle), something for big and small people there! Porthgain well worth a visit, has the Shed fish and chip bistro! Also Sloop Inn (no dogs).
